Yay! We're glad we could share the tip. We always have a card or two from Cove Cafe half filled from each cruise, so it's great you can bring them back on another sailing and use across ships too! 😍
#chillaxing, I definitely agree on the main entree at brunch being the least favorite, my snapper was over cooked, #magic shots were so cute, #❤️SassyDaisy, #here in your rear, #littlebaylittlebetter, Cadillac Lounge is amazing, love that the lithograph is framed, hello mama Joy, #debrief time, Ella is the best I had her on my WBPC last year, totally agree the crew & cast members are incredible! Thank you for all the awesome scenery pictures and I can’t wait for Glacier day! Looks like the blanket was a great purchase 😊
Always #chillaxing! 😍 We're glad we're not the only ones who find the brunch entrees at Palo just OK. This day was an amazing day (they all were really!). Hahaha...Brandon and all his phrases and hashtags! 😜 That's awesome to hear you also got to see Ella on your cruise last year. The crew is so amazing, and we always love the bar & lounge crew too, because we get to know them so well by the end of the cruising! So glad you enjoyed the video and can't wait to highlight glacier day soon. 😍
We were so lucky that we got several gorgeous sunsets like this on the cruise! Can't wait to share glacier day coming up next in our series and all the other amazing port stops too! 😍
After going to palo brunch on the wish in January I also could not eat anything for the rest of the day. I too am wondering if there’s anyone who could eat a full meal after palo. After eating there I called palo the best never ending food fest I’ve ever had
Thanks for these videos I’m taking my two young kids in September for our first Alaskan cruise and can’t wait - we are from Australia so a long way away!
The views on this cruise were just absolutely incredible! Definitely a memorable trip. And, the good thing about DCL is that they get lots of high safety ratings for inspections, so the only Titanic adjacent thing you should encounter is that walking deck (which is a wonderful place to relax!).
Cadillac Lounge is my favorite as well. The crew is always great there, and so it the entertainment. I can't wait to see Lenora Clare perform again next week.
Cadillac Lounge is so good! We spent a ton of time there this cruise. Lenora Clare was outstanding & we got to chat with her a bit on one of our last sailing days. So glad you get to go enjoy the Wonder, crew & entertainment there soon! 😍
We're so glad you enjoyed it! How exciting that you'll be there in 3 weeks! We hope it's an amazing time and you enjoy it as much as we did! We'll be sharing more vlogs very soon from our trip too! 😍
Oh no! I wonder if it's an issue with the red snapper lately? That's a bummer to hear yours was also not great. It's a shame that the main entrees in Palo brunch are hit or miss sometimes -- the rest of their food at brunch and dinner are so amazing!
That is definitely a good strategy/trick! We didn't eat anything before our brunch at Palo, which was at 12:30 p.m., but goodness were we stuffed for the rest of the day!
We're so glad we could share highlights from the trip. It was unbelievably beautiful in Canada and Alaska! We can't wait to share even more beautiful sights in the glaciers and ports! 😊
We are neither gluten free or dairy free but we have really enjoyed your videos. We too live in Orlando and just booked an Alaska cruise for next year. Thank you for your detailed reviews and look forward to your next Alaska videos.
Aw that's awesome! We're so glad you're enjoying the videos. Hope your Alaska cruise next year is amazing. We had the best time and recommend it highly! Can't wait to share more cruise vlogs with you all!
Great question! Sadly, it's still the old Internet package. It's the only DCL ship that hasn't been upgraded yet. We spoke to folks about it on our sailing, and it sounds like there was an issue when they went to install equipment for the upgrade. Hopefully, when the Wonder dry docks next it can get upgraded. Thankfully, on this sailing we had decent cell coverage in all the ports and even randomly traveling to and from ports depending on the area in between Alaska and Canada.
Great question! We recommend always double-checking with your service team and the brands. Disney (including the cruise line and WDW) exclusively used Aardvark brand straws for years which are 100% GF (they're just made with paper). That being said, there's a lot of mixed information out about paper straws including the ones at WDW all containing gluten, which is not accurate. I always recommend asking a chef directly about the brand, as supply chain issues can impact what brands are being used. I am pretty sensitive and haven't gotten sick on any of the paper straws, but I would definitely recommend if you aren't comfortable using them to skip the straws or bring your own reusable version with you. As a GF aside, most of the national celiac associations and Tricia from the GF Watchdog have put out statements that most paper straws are generally considered safe for those with celiac disease (or that there is not strong evidence that the straws contain gluten -- including testing from GF Watchdog). Hope this helps!
@@glutenfreedairyfreedisney - that's very interesting! I ask every time we visit WDW (we are AP holders) and the servers religiously tell me that the straws do contain gluten. I'll have to ask specific brand and research it next time we are there. Thanks for the info!
@@travelwithheathero I reached out to Disney's Special Diets Department, and they said that currently all Disney owned locations (not applicable to 3rd party locations) serve paper straws that are gluten free but that vendors can be changed from time to time so to always check. I would personally ask the chef for the brand if there are any concerns! Hope that helps too. 😍
Thanks for the Pro Tip ri bring your Cove Cafe card from a previous cruise! I've never heard anyone mention that!
Yay! We're glad we could share the tip. We always have a card or two from Cove Cafe half filled from each cruise, so it's great you can bring them back on another sailing and use across ships too! 😍
You guys really lucked out on the weather, at least so far that I have seen. Beautiful week in the Northwest!
We really did! The only day the weather was gloomy, cool, and slightly rainy was Juneau. Even Ketchikan was a moderately warm and sunny day! 😊
You guys are the cutest! We are so glad we found your vlogs.
Aw thank you so much! We're glad you found our vlogs and are enjoying them! 😍
WOW that sunset! 25 more days till we sail…hoping for lots of evenings like this.
It was SO amazing and even better in person! Hope you get to enjoy lots of evenings in Alaska like this too and that your cruise is amazing! 😍

Wow! Amazing scenery-so beautiful! Can’t wait to see more Alaska!
It was so amazing! Can't wait to share more highlights and beautiful scenery! 😍

Palo brunch is so much food, but SO worth it! It's all so good! That's the best way to describe Palo too! Love it! 😍
Thanks for these videos I’m taking my two young kids in September for our first Alaskan cruise and can’t wait - we are from Australia so a long way away!
How exciting! We hope you have an amazing trip and cruise! Alaska is amazing! 😊
We met Alwayne on a cruise in December 2022 on the Dream. He was awesome! So personable!
That's awesome! Alwayne is a great DCL crew member, and we look forward to seeing him on the Dream again!
The views are so stunning! Made a note about somm bin. I DO remember Titanic … not great for my anxiety. 😂

I had the snapper on the magic on 5/22 and mine was over cooked too! Felt like it was a weird cut as well.
Oh no! I wonder if it's an issue with the red snapper lately? That's a bummer to hear yours was also not great. It's a shame that the main entrees in Palo brunch are hit or miss sometimes -- the rest of their food at brunch and dinner are so amazing!
Our trick with Palo is to eat as a late breakfast but not eat a separate lunch or breakfast.
That is definitely a good strategy/trick! We didn't eat anything before our brunch at Palo, which was at 12:30 p.m., but goodness were we stuffed for the rest of the day!
The scenery is absolutely stunning! Thank you both so much for the wonderful video! I am so enjoying your adventure.

QUESTION! Does the wonder have the upgraded internet packages yet? Like the basic and premium surf or is it still by the megabyte?
Great question! Sadly, it's still the old Internet package. It's the only DCL ship that hasn't been upgraded yet. Daisy didn't go to Palo, cause she is watching her figure.😂
Ha! 🤣
Noticed the straws in your ice tea at Palo. Are the straws on DCL gluten free? I know that in WDW most of the paper straws contain gluten.
