So for those who got one. The truth about this type of espresso is that you need to make sure you get good coffee so that you can get the best flavor outta this shot. What I recommend is that you go to your local coffee shop (if you have one) get coffee beans that have been cooked there and use a hand grinder that can grind is very fine. Then you will see the difference in flavor and texture. I’ve worked in a coffee shop and I can tell you right now this is very if not the same and getting an espresso shot form an espresso machine. I hope my comment helps.
I just got mine and it's amazing!!! I'm going to use it at my office (modular) so NO noise to disturb my colleagues. If i wanted...i could use it for camping, i have a Solar kettle. No electricity, no cords. That's why it's Manual¡¡ I have one for car that worked with nespresso pods and it took forever to boil water and then to actual produce the espresso. It took so long that water was just warm at the end and no more of 30 ml. I can have a lungo with my staresso¡¡ dont buy coffee machines with battery or for cars. Dont waste your money, i did it and they are garbages. Get this one and for camping a solar kettle if you want. Maybe get something really good for boiling water in your car.
Thank you for sharing, my noob self didn't realize you have to screw the basket onto the water container first...had water spilling everywhere and no espresso. Until I followed your video! 🙏
Way to many different parts. And if you still need to boil water seperately why not using a Bialetti (or other brand) espressomaker, which only consists of three parts?!
Actually, you don't have to put in boiling water. Amazingly, you can pull a decent shot of cold brew coffee out of the grounds. You're not going to find an espresso maker with a built-in boiler for $60. I mean, you might. But it's not going to pull a better shot than the Staresso.
This is portable manual coffee maker. If you want heating element in the machine, sure, but then forget about the portability. If convenience is what you're looking for, then you should buy a Nespresso machine instead. No need to put boiling water, no need to fill the basket with coffee grind yourself. Problem solved.

Great espresso machine for the price w/a 1 year warranty
Well, let me say, this thing makes one fine cappuccino.
what is the grind size for the bean? espresso grind or coarser like French press?
I love using this over my aero press
That's nice to hear. I have been looking for something like this to use instead of my Aeropress.
Yes, I have an Aeropress and some friends have this one and I tasted it, and it sure makes a difference.
Half of the video is the guy filling the container with coffee...
I think ist's because se he hadn't the espresso yet 😉

you dont get crema with bialetti or similar type
Ummmm.I will pass on this. There has to be a better way. The video was hard to watch as well, and im not sure why!?
I just think it’s ridiculous that you HAVE to put boiling water... can’t they make it so the water heats its self?
you don't understand the art of manual!
