To me it seemed more like a guy shooting the only other guy in the room in the foot, hiding the gun behind his back and starting to whistle. Also the it seems noteworthy that the only person that actually suggested hiding the gun at this point could do anything was Harstem himself xD
"you're not supposed to go 3 queen if you're going ling bane, but it could be a 2-base fake" implying players at this level have any concept of tricking their opponent when they don't even know what they're doing themselves.
can confirm that the strange opening both zergs did is pretty meta down here in diamond. I think it comes from zergs trying to play standard zvz macro and chronically dying, so they making adjustments to it until it starts to look like the 2 base 3 queen bane nest into a late third that this game had. source - exactly what my build slowly reverts to every time I try to play standard.
I'm the opposite, I'm probably the only diamond zerg that plays standard. I'm really good at droning up and not dying. My problem is macro and micro, that's why I'm just 3000mmr.
@@inaki7233 I dont know how you can survive the early game while droning up, I feel like if I can survive to the roach macro/micro stage I can win every time but getting there is impossible playing completely standard. how many drones do you go up to?
standard macro game into death from 2 base, into next game both players 2 basing, into esc surrender hotkeys at 900 APM during loading screen of the next zvz you see :)
It is obvious that u two are friends and having fun while casting, I think this is the best caster I have ever heard it was too good I laugh so much, the whole part, "Cobalt miss the baneling nest in the natural, how big is that? "...
This was pretty frustrating to watch, but I know plenty of my games look the same. You just don't realize sometimes how far you are ahead, they did have plenty of into still. This was a great video though, you guys are a fantastic pair this! Some of my favorite content.
I see a new noobs in disguise, I click! I'd love to see more of these but at the same time I imagine it's incredibly frustrating for you to see so many mistakes, and there's only so much you can tolerate :D.
This is a great example of how to win Starcraft 2: Make more units. Cobalt never an actual force large enough to defeat Poly all in the same place. It's all muta harassment (and suicide onto the hydra army) with tiny base trades. Just make 100 zerglings at GO for it. (Oh I see now that Lambo says exactly this at 22:30 😛 ) I'm curious what his max supply was. Around 19:00 he's got 90 army supply, which is tragic, given how ahead he was.
ayy, my guess was 3800. I do think blue was afk at the start. I think the main tell it was under 4K was that blue had no urgency to do a MLB attack to do lots of damage before Lurkers/Hive were out & red had no urgency to get to Hive. This tells me both players were used to the Muta Ling Bane vs Roach Hydra being the standard meta play at that mmr. Controlling units & still spending resources decently it couldn't be D3/Plat or lower, so it had to be somewhere in Mid~High Diamond.
Can we talk abou the fact that neither of those 2 knew that Dronely fans was one of Lowko's name a few months/years back? I thought it was Lowko for a sec, guess somebody just reused the name XD
I saw Harstem at a grocery store in Maastricht yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
This story works better when you set it in the US, both for the infetterence joke and for the "cashier puts the wares in your bag" thing. I mean I don't know for sure they don't do that in the Netherlands as well, but I doubt it since it's a civilised country.
Can't believe these guys are same MMR as myself. I guessed something around 3k based on the initial build order, not microing banelings, loosing 3rd multiple times, not building infestors.
Macro goes a long way, I could tell it was High-Diamond as resources were actually being spent while units were being controlled constantly. Maybe not controlled well, but still controlled.
"Like a guy shooting a machine gun and saying 'they haven't spotted my ammunition yet.'"...this is the content we need lol
that whole interaction makes me cry of laughter

Harstem just wheezing from laughing will never get old. Especially with lambo furiously lecturing in the background

lol, yeah. not to mention you have to trust the opponent to know the build so I'm not sure how well fakes would even work unless it's very obvious.
Harambo should do a series where pro players continue from amateur players' replays and see who wins in various situations
cool idea

Cobalt with an impressive amount of negative micro on those mutas.

Wasn't Dronelyfans one of Lowko's accounts? Am I crazy?
Another banger from the dynamic God gamers duo

Polystyrene is one of my favorite crafting materials, can't wait to see how badly it performs in a starcraft 2 match
I said 3850 out loud. this is one of the only videos in my life that made me yell at my television like grandpa watching sports.
wasn't DronelyFans Lowko's username for a while? Was it Lowko submitting or just someone who stole the name?
I went 3600, I thought both of you were way overrating the players
"wasn't going to make an infestation pit anyway" - oh so we are just going to ignore the muta squad killing the infestation pit 2 minutes ago? ^^'
Tbf he mentioned after that it may have been sniped

this game has some double bongcloud energy XD
Need to start entering guessing into a system so they’re both anonymous. I bet there’s be a way bigger range
Game show idea:
StarCraft Jeopardy or some other name where players guess what strategy the players are going to do next.
Going into banes from there is actually the meta in plat as well
Guessed 3800! My best guess yet🎉
Can we talk abou the fact that neither of those 2 knew that Dronely fans was one of Lowko's name a few months/years back? I thought it was Lowko for a sec, guess somebody just reused the name XD
Guessed 4000 MMR, some high level moves, the drone count and expand timing told me it wasn't Master.
i guessed 3400. Neat, I got closer

cool story bro
@@gaba023 I think I have read that story somewhere. I guess that is some kind of meme or whatever.
@@nhattuyenvodieu3103 Apparently it's "the Flying Lotus copypasta".

Where is #19
Wow my guess was 4100 too. That will never happen again.
Wait isnt DronelyFans a Lowko account?
i'm here to inform you that i'm completely on the money with my guess.
3600 (high diamond 3) i did not cheat i guessed before the guessed after 24 mins
Not that hard to spend mineral when they were constantly stuck on 2 bases. Lol.
I think I am just most surprised by how long this game was, it was essentially over multiple things if either player had done just one thing.

I jusy dont get where they find these mmrs when im stuck under 3300 no matter how many games i play and i do better than these guys did lol
