A suggestion would be for Harstem and Lambo to lock in their guesses first (by DMing Hamster or Simplegeometry or whatever) and then they say their guesses out loud. This is to prevent them from being influenced by the guesses that they heard out loud.
I will say, as a low level player (bottom of Diamond) I am way better at guessing the MMR's of these games than these pros are. I guess I just compare the gameplay to mine and it gives me a good estimate for the MMR. It would be fascinating to have a low level player talk in these casts too, so they can give their perspective for what it's like down here!
Yeah I’m their mmr as well as Zerg . A big tell that this was slightly under me was the lack of z runby by Toss. P players that use that are instantly 200-300 mmr higher than those that don’t
Hello boys simplegeometry here, spoilers below: Rest assured i did not miss the fact that the first 9 minutes were critically boring, but I hope the second half of the game was enough to make up for it. Picked this game to deliver you guys a loss for the submitter, and of course in my infinite wisdom I guessed lambo wouldn't listen to who the submitter was. +500 advantage for harstem all as planned
Guessed 3400. Looked very much like what I see in my games. Nothing happening first 10 minutes was odd. Made me guess lower. But fighting looked solid from my eyes. Outstanding Performance from Lambo btw ...
Maybe whoever is behind should guess first? Seems like whoever guesses first has a slight advantage, because if the 2nd guesser was thinking about the same range, they need to change their answer in order to try to have a guess with any impact.
shows about bad people are so good. It makes me want to play lol, but I watch too many pro games to know I'll never be at that level so it makes it feel pointless.
This mentality is strange to me. Just because you'll never be as good as a pro doesn't mean you can't be good enough to enjoy playing. Winning feels good even if your opponents suck just as much as you do.
Ok, I was a bit further away than Harstem, but way closer than Lambo. Even in NA, mid diamond players know how to macro somewhat competently, they open with actual build orders and don't just float 5K minerals in the midgame, so there's no way these players could have been above 3500. These players are better than me when I'm drunk, but I'm pretty sure I'd beat them most of the time if I was sober. I think they're slightly better at composition but I'm better at macro and map control. I'm 2861 Europe, mid-low Plat.
I prefer not knowing who the submitter is.
their "this is very interesting" has big "completely unique opening" energy from chess XD

great idea
If the score difference gets too big, you can always do a "season" have a price or punishment or some such and then reset the competition.
"only the elite watches our content"
*Me, having never played a single game of Starcraft in my life, sweating*
I thought 2700mmr, the macro was really poor, missing almost all injects, thousands of minerals, I think he's getting demoted.
2 pros:
Trying to predict players' actions/thoughts based on analysis of their scout
Players in video:
"I'm just gonna build this, cuz I want to"

U love how protoss sees 12 lurkers and doesn't build an observer 😂
I've watched Harstem cast enough to know that he's never seen anything before

Devious
it was pretty entertaining
You shouldnt say the submitter till the end

When you have a bank of 2k+ for 15 minutes and you never get the idea of "Huh... maybe I should spend this money..."
Love this series so much

It is not an advantage to have less information. If you're having trouble with it you can just ignore the first guess
Hey, love the serie! Still, I'm wondering if you could lower a bit the game music? It makes it somewhat difficult to hear you both clearly.
agreed!
I guessed 1000 mmr below Lambo... So at least I beat one of you
Yeah we should not know who submitted. There should be few really high games, like some pro games.
If you watch it this video at 2x time, they are only idle for 4 minutes instead of 9.

And they aren't even really bad, it's just that the game is hard. Like less than 1% of the population can play at the level of these typical games.
playing sc2 is not about win all the tournaments, it's about having fun )
and maybe beat Serrall one day

I think submitters mistake this with IODIS lol
What happened to the other creatures of the sea? 😅
Not knowing the submiter would be cool
The top level of protoss players (non astrea) use storms less than this level.
PvZ but terran music 🤔
I m zerg similar mmr 3000-3100 In EU, this guy will be 2450MMR in EU
You're 3k MMR? Show me the game you're better than those guys 😜
@@TripWithTheMoon 8.30 I m nearly/maxed out roaches if nothing happen and against robo it is the best way to play.
I prefer not knowing, it would be nice if you put it in the comments for people that do want to know.
My guess: 2750... Oh, you said It's North America... 2900 then.

@@nathangamble125I’m 3200 NA and I challenge you to a duel for my continents honor!
I'm low diamond and I would have guessed both players better than me 😁@@nathangamble125
Ok, my guess before I know the answer is 3.5k mmr
Not bad
I'm guessing 3100
Yessss
This has to be mid diamond 3. Didnt cheat and c their decisions. I think low diamond 3 is 3200 high diamond 3 is 3600 so 3400.
