I enjoyed this very much I remember the old way of your introduction and I really loved it. I love the fact that you have Laura with you she is very special in these shows. God bless you both stay safe 👍👍👍👍
I like the old school - straight forward way of exploring. The simplicity provides a lot of tension ("is he going to drop the camera etc") and the new is very technical and clean and provides a different view of things.
What an astonishing mine. You and Laura will be forever grateful for all of your viewers loving your content.😊. Thank u both for showing us the ropes,, so to speak!
I loved the original intro too... Thanks Gly 😉..... Great episode! Coming up on 200th episode....so cool...been with you since the beginning...luv luv old school Wednesdays... Good to see Laura embracing mine exploring. 😊
I appreciate all the hard work you've done with your more complicated setup but I do really miss the old school style. Its just so immersive. I had to do a double take when the old intro played because I thought I had accidently clicked an earlier video. Either way, I'm always happy to watch your content. Whatever you enjoy doing and how you enjoy doing it is the correct choice :)
Love the Old Introduction, Brings Back Good Memories - You Left Out the Snake Following You, Stay Safe, Happy Trails To You...See You Both Saturday...Am...Thanks...
Absolutely loving your guys' decision to return to form for these new Wednesday episodes! People like me who get woozy from the drone work sure do appreciate it!
I am loving Wednesday old school! Down to the intro buttscratch, it’s great! And You with Laura is working well for interest and exploring.Thank you for returning to the initial way that captured my interest, at least for part of the channel presentation. I really Like the walking and true noises with no weird music.
That intro brings back some memories ;-D and you're still giving me grey hair lol. Great explore. Love the extra episode thanks. Stay safe as always. Love to you both ;-) xx
Very good episode Laura & Cly that old news paper clip how lucky to find it about mining would be interesting to reaserch about articles of it , again well done both of you , Cheers .
I have seen almost all of your videos. Huge fan love your stuff.. Wow this takes me back. Seeing this episode made me realize that you're older style of documentation is much more immersive and entertaining in my opinion... keep it up👍👍👍
A lovely bit of nostalgia. I'll watch (and do watch) everything you post. They sure didn't waste any materials on those ladders, did they? Barely enough room for your feet! Glad I stayed for the post-credit scene!
“Gly”: Five years ago when I made that many folks couldn’t watch my videos in 4K so not too many people ever commented on what I put underneath Old Bob.
A mine from 1913! has really held up well. Appreciated you two documenting it. Noted that your movement and camera work was somewhat slower paced then we've been seeing. Guess that's what you mean by the "old way" of filming and moving thru an adet. Good job! See you two on Sat.
I appreciate your hard work producing great content. . Coming from South Africa l was fortunate to go down several Gold mines, one in particular at Gold reef city wene down 2/3 kilometres .
What an excellent surprise! That Original opening is classic! So good. ...and the episode ain't half bad either.. Looks like a cat at the bottom of the cagiest winzes going.. Nice cribbing, but looks like the whole mine is a pile of rocks.. Definitely great fun!
Snake ball on a hiking shaft. The good old days for sure. Just watched Frank and Sharon's tour of their mine. They must have half of the artifacts from other mines in their display. Missed the days of the "squirrel" spotter.
Was a good episode, always to go exploring, good Job Laura, loved the newspaper article, there were a few names in there that might give up some secrets, there was mentioned a map with names for mines, perhaps giving up what they were looking for... who knows. Mr Fatty pack rat was fun. I do like to poke around and examine homemade mechanicals and artifacts I suppose even the cat scat. Blasting cap tins are cool, but are a caution, blasting caps can be hidden in allot of things and places. Was fun. Gly, just wing it like you always did, high light the features of the mine, thats great. All the other things I enjoy also, I was behind you in adding the drone from the beginning. Dont forget to zero out the very end of the tunneling we have been fooled before at what lay at the bitter end. Thank you Gly and Laura.👍👍👍
Yes you are the nut 🤪. Hey no me BBQ here the restaurant is open again lol. Come by and say hello. I would love to meet Lora. Keep up the good work my friend.
I almost skipped this vid when I saw the old school intro! Mid week, old intro, heck I thought it was an old repeat episode for filler. Glad I waited it out and when I heard Laura, I knew it was a new one. 😊
13:10 you sent me down a rabbit hole... again, though I'm not sure it was you that sent me the first time. ICC-14 isn't a date code, it's specification 14 for nailed wooden boxes. When was that? Oof... rabbit hole. Most likely 1908 or 1911, from the history of the ICC, definitely no earlier than that though, and potentially up until the late 1960s when 49cfr178.165 changed so the text in the box reads "DOT-14", as the department of transportation was founded and took over that duty.
Guy and Laura great first Wednesday episode. Earlier this morning I looked at episode 145 the death trap episode. I know when a comment I made last week I suggested that you push the envelope a little and take more risk, but after watching that I change my mind I think the two you need to concentrate on safety Over recklessness, which of course you ordinarily do. I look forward to many more episodes in the future to having you buried under a few tons of rocks would really spoil all the fun for both of us getting buried in landslide or collapse will ruin your day. Keep up the good work.
...👍🏾🙏👍🏾✨✨✨HEY GIY Y'ALL... I REALLY TRULY ENJOY Y'ALL MOVEMENTS HOW Y'ALL ARE MOVING FROM ABANDONED TO ANOTHER ABANDONED PLACES AND GOING DOWN THOSE SMALL STAIRS... WOW ...YEP THAT WAS SCARY TO WATCH BUT I KNOW THAT'S WHAT YOU DOES GIY AND I ENJOY THAT ALWAYS TO SEE WHAT COULD BE DOWN ...I WAITED IT TILL MOMENT TO FINISHED WATCHING THIS EPISODE LIKE I DO MOST OF THE SHOWS IT'S TO WATCH SOME AND TO WATCH THE PART OF LATER SO YES I'M GLAD I CAME TO WATCH THIS BEFORE Y'ALL BEGIN ANOTHER EPISODE SO I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE TOMORROW GIY SO OKAY Y'ALL CONTINUALLY STAY UP AND STAND GRATEFUL AND LOVES AND SAFETY AS I WILL SEE Y'ALL IN YOUR NEXT VIDEO SO OKAY LATER SIR...👍🏾✨✨✨👍🏾🙏👍🏾...
I still love this intro, it's what got me hooked on this channel way back.
❤ I'm torn. I love them both!🎉😅
I love the steel guitar,I used to watch right to the end just to hear it again.
Me too..
“Gly”: Thanks guys! We’ll be doing this every Wednesday from here on. 🤔

I enjoyed this very much I remember the old way of your introduction and I really loved it. I love the fact that you have Laura with you she is very special in these shows. God bless you both stay safe 👍👍👍👍
Have to say I love this intro! Thanks for bringing it back.
I remember this intro from back in the day as you do. And here I am today, exploring with one of the original mine exploring TH-cam guys.

Old school intro, and mid week fun,I'm so happy😊
So simple back then! One stick with a tennis ball on it. Love that old intro. You've come a long way baby!
I like the old school - straight forward way of exploring. The simplicity provides a lot of tension ("is he going to drop the camera etc") and the new is very technical and clean and provides a different view of things.
“Gly”: Thanks! We’re going to try and keep both camps happy.
What an astonishing mine. You and Laura will be forever grateful for all of your viewers loving your content.😊. Thank u both for showing us the ropes,, so to speak!
The mine with the newspaper clipping was an unplanned surprise. It didn't seem like one that would house any treasures.
Love the itch. at the beginning!
Nice to see you both on a weekday with another amazing video.... thanks to you both
I really like this video. The style and the old mine adventure is awesome.
Over 100 years old, so cool to see. I love the looks of that old cedar lumbar.

I love this channel! This is one of the coolest mines I've ever seen..I love checking out the really old ones, so much cool history!😍👏👍
“Gly”: Thank you!
Thanks to Gly and Laura for another cool episode.

OMG Classic intro!!! I love it!
Just pure awesomeness, two mines each week.. heck yeah!!

Nice to see the old intro back, it was my favourite :)
Great having a mid week episode. very enjoyable and interesting episode. Australia is always watching , see you Saturday
love it! LOVE IT! I kinda missed the old tennis ball and the butt scratch! Great episode with secret ending!
I like this style it’s what got me watching your channel 😂 I’ll refrain from any other comments.
I love that Laura took some extra time to look at the littler things like the paper. That was really neat. You 2 make a good team.
“Gly”: Thank you!
Noice explore Glly and Laura, thank you.....till the next take care and stay safe. ⛏⚒⛏
Love the throwback intro, another great adventure!! Thanks Laura and Gly!!!

Looking forward to Saturday. Stay safe you two.
I loved this video. Thank you for sharing it and yours and Laura’s adventures. Did you ever figure out what they were mining for.?😊
“Gly”: In this one they were high grading copper ore.
Very good episode Laura & Cly that old news paper clip how lucky to find it about mining would be interesting to reaserch about articles of it , again well done both of you , Cheers .
Thank you brother man for your cave mine explorations😊
Gly and Laura, so glad to see you getting back to the old school way of doing the filming and bringing back some of the old stuff.
I have seen almost all of your videos. Huge fan love your stuff.. Wow this takes me back. Seeing this episode made me realize that you're older style of documentation is much more immersive and entertaining in my opinion... keep it up👍👍👍
“Gly”: We’re having fun with it too!
Back to Basics , luv it 👍🦆💃
A lovely bit of nostalgia. I'll watch (and do watch) everything you post. They sure didn't waste any materials on those ladders, did they? Barely enough room for your feet! Glad I stayed for the post-credit scene!
Yesssssssss.... this simple old intro is simply the best !!!
brilliant stuff gly and laura , see you saturday
Morning gly and Laura and old bob.
I love cut and fill mines they are so scenic.
Is it Saturday already????
HOW LONG DID I SLEEP FOR????
Nice to see Wednesday videos back again so 👍
Thanks, Gly and Lady Laura
That was great! Thanks Gly and Laura
Love the old-school documentary!!! Great video. Nice to see Laura!!
Haha😂 In the old intro, I never caught the yellow ducky on Bobs front control arm, and the gas tank skidplate greeting! Love it
“Gly”: Five years ago when I made that many folks couldn’t watch my videos in 4K so not too many people ever commented on what I put underneath Old Bob.
Great episode, I loved the no nonsense old school exploring even though 360 camera would have been invaluable on the ladder.
Please be careful not to burn yourselves out producing two videos a week. 🙂
“Gly”: We’ve got a good strategy in place so we stay ahead of things.
I love the old school look gly
We've always missed the ole intro and now it's back. With Laura along with you now, things will start to get even better.
Great episode Gly and Laure, i loved it!!! xx
I love your old and revived intro and the snake following you in.
Thanks for the hump day video and explore. It's an extra treat.
I would love more on the geology of the mines you explore while in the mine like oar depression ect. Either way love your videos. 😊
Wow, some people get to see both sides of the mountains‼️😎👍
Great episode and loved to see the old intro again!
Thanks for the double shot ! We'd & a sat..😊❤
Totally love this way but I don't dislike the newer stuff!! Keep on keeping on!
Awesome video today, you two are doing great!!!
Great explore, I enjoyed seeing all the rough-cut timbering in that mine
I luv the vids in this style
What an excellent surprise! That Original opening is classic! So good.
...and the episode ain't half bad either..
Looks like a cat at the bottom of the cagiest winzes going.. Nice cribbing, but looks like the whole mine is a pile of rocks.. Definitely great fun!
THANKS! for the Wednesday addition.
Wonderful mid-week surprise!
Gly this has been your best episode in maybe a year! Keep it old school!
“Gly”: Old school and new school each week. Something for everyone!
I love a mine with lots of stulls (i THINK I'm spelling that right!). Thanks for the fascinating video :)
Snake ball on a hiking shaft. The good old days for sure. Just watched Frank and Sharon's tour of their mine. They must have half of the artifacts from other mines in their display. Missed the days of the "squirrel" spotter.
Another great video. Wish I could find this many timbers in mines in the UK. They are always taken out. Obviously the track is also gone
Wednesdays!!! Yes let’s go. Great explore and high quality documentation!
Was a good episode, always to go exploring, good Job Laura, loved the newspaper article, there were a few names in there that might give up some secrets, there was mentioned a map with names for mines, perhaps giving up what they were looking for... who knows. “Gly”: Thank you! We’re happy you enjoyed this one!
The thumbs up ball on a stick and but scratch intro one of my favorite intros it made my day
Yes you are the nut 🤪. Hey no me BBQ here the restaurant is open again lol. Come by and say hello. I would love to meet Lora. Keep up the good work my friend.
Loved this video, thank you both!
Gly, thanks for the info about why the ladder rungs are on the "wrong" side. Always wondered, as usual, you teach us so many fascinating new things!
Yes I liked seeing the old intro!
Do more above ground exploring 😉😂
I like both kinds, mines/caves (holes on the ground, man made or natural) but mines and caves are my favorite.
I almost skipped this vid when I saw the old school intro! Mid week, old intro, heck I thought it was an old repeat episode for filler. Glad I waited it out and when I heard Laura, I knew it was a new one. 😊
I love when you say a funny and Laura giggles.
I’m so proud of you guys
Sweet, it's like the weekend during the week!
13:10 you sent me down a rabbit hole... again, though I'm not sure it was you that sent me the first time. ICC-14 isn't a date code, it's specification 14 for nailed wooden boxes. When was that? I missed the old theme music... brings back some good adventures!
Maybe those coffee cans were spittoons for the minears. Because the Foreman got tired stepping in it.
This takes me back a while, Gly, Laura, educate us.
Love the old intro! Great to have a Wednesday video.
That legendary intro!
Guy and Laura great first Wednesday episode. Earlier this morning I looked at episode 145 the death trap episode. “Gly”: The trick is knowing where your limitations are and don’t go past your comfort zone.
Like the beginning of the channel with the old intro, Love it!
