    Great review and comparison with the Buccaneer. Loved it that the Hollingberrys gave there views on the differences. That must have taken ages to put together. Thank you for taking the time, a really helpful insight into the two side by side. 👍👍👍

    I really enjoyed this. Great to hear the views of owners that have same layout but different make. It was great to hear what the girls had to say too. Nice one Andy.

    , Hi Andy and Kate, great review and hi the the Hollingberrys , we used to have a single axle 6 berth a 2014 compass 576, if you take look at the layout of this van, at the rear the bathroom is in the rear corner next to the bunks is exactly as Damien was describing, take a look, it was the biggest bathroom we’ve ever had in a caravan.
    Well done guys 👍

      Thanks Martin! It was great to get the input of Kelly and Damian on this one. Yep, the layout looks good though I guess the only thing is that it could make that bottom bunk feel a bit small. You can't have everything I suppose!!! We had a look around the Compass 586 at the NEC recently, that's got an end wardrobe between the bathroom and bunks - works really well. Andy

    Nice review, the drawer unit in the front looks really wide making the van look much bigger. Great size dining table. Thanks for sharing 👍

      Thanks very much, yes the front drawer is massive! Hope all is good with you.

    Great video and excellent review ... wonder what the towing is like with an 8 foot width? The kids 'crack me up' ... they are so at home on camera ! Look forward to more vlogs, take care.

      Thanks Dawn, hmmmm I wonder too. My car is pretty wide so don't think it would be too noticeable. I remember Andrew Ditton having similar feelings when he borrowed the Adria he had for a while but got on ok with it. Ha, they're funny, frustrating at the time of recording but then when I get down to editing the videos together they crack me up too. Thanks for watching. Andy

    Great review. If I had the money I would go and get the Adria Sava. I think it solves the problems you mentioned. There is a separate back area so kids are away. The compromise is the weight of the van. Also has Alde heating.

      @MakeWayWithTheMorleys  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks very much! Well, that's the thing - there is always a compromise. On balance though, whilst the sleeping arrangement might not be perfect, at some point you could see if a bedroom annexe would work. The table during the day is a massive bonus and means you could leave the front table (stored in the wardrobe) at home. Increasing your payload by a few kilos. Thanks for watching. Andy

    Been looking forward to this, a great very in-depth review, interesting comparing our Aruba to this model, very happy with ours but do wish ours had the foot stall and shoe cupboard lol. With us being only a family of four we preferred the fixed end bed instead of the bunks, will use the sofa area as two singles and the double at the rear for us, am fitting a tv above the rear double this weekend so we can stay up and watch tv

      @MakeWayWithTheMorleys  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cheers Chris. The Foot stool and cupboard are really useful features. Interesting to know that you opted for the fixed double. Best of luck with the TV fitting this weekend. Thanks for watching. Andy

    Great review Andy. 8 ft Caravans really do make a difference. Did you notice the difference in width when towing?

    • @MakeWayWithTheMorleys
      @MakeWayWithTheMorleys  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks very much. Indeed they do, that additional width is quite profound with this layout. Unfortunately, the Caravan was delivered to site and so I have no idea but the Navara is pretty wide anyway so I don't think it would feel too different. I'd love to try though 😀. Thanks for watching. Andy

    Great video as always! Maybe you should try the unicorn Segovia next so the kids are separate!

    Excellent review. Nice caravan but for me that stool would get in my way haha. My son would love though while playing his xbox.

    • @MakeWayWithTheMorleys
      @MakeWayWithTheMorleys  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks very much, the stool stows away at the back of the Caravan. The seat cushion comes off and the base slots in to place at the back next to the bunks. Thanks for watching. Andy

    Hi guys good all round video a good in depth of the van what works and what don't I know 8ft wide is nice but don't think would like to it as it much harder especially on narrow roads I the other bailly u had was more practical and easier tow and end bathroom all ways good vlog cheers .kev

    • @MakeWayWithTheMorleys
      @MakeWayWithTheMorleys  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cheers Kev, well I'm sure you would get used to the extra width when towing. It certainly makes for things to feel bigger and more open once inside! Cheers for watching. Andy

    Hello I got told dont get a double axle. As a lot of sites don't like them ,for reasons I dont no .I see you have got one now. What's your thoughts on it please .kind regards Richard

    • @MakeWayWithTheMorleys
      @MakeWayWithTheMorleys  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Richard, thanks for your comment. Interesting to hear you say that, we have never had an issue in the UK. We tend to go to CAMC or C&CC sites other than the odd independent. Normally, when booking you'll be asked about your outfit and sometimes a quick call to site might solve the issue. The only time we thought we might have a problem was when we were looking for sites in France last year (for the stop offs on the way to and back from Spain) as most sites we looked at said they wouldn't take twin axles. After a quick email to site we were able to book a pitch.
      There are pros and cons of course. More running wheels means more cost when needing to be replaced, great risk of a puncture but more stability. Depending on your security devices this might mean you need to jack the caravan up each time to fit them (especially the Alko axle locks). Of course you get more space as the Caravan is longer and will be heavier than a single axle in general.
      Hope this helps. Andy

    Two observations:
    1) Your kids are not highly strung. They're perfect. And that's down to you two
    2) Isla needs her own channel ;-)
    Another great video - thanks

      Haha, I think both Isla and her sister might end up 'on stage' at some point 😀

    Looked at a Grande this weekend - love the feel of the width, but, we do not want a twin wheeler!

      The width is great. Ahhh why so? Intrigued to hear why. Andy

    this is where elddis got it spot on, a door, or even two to seperate people not only for privacy but for shutting the front out from the back when you want to carry on the party at the front. however, there are sacrifices

    • @MakeWayWithTheMorleys
      @MakeWayWithTheMorleys  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      True that, indeed one sacrifices would you be needing a massive towcar but I totally understand your point! Get that party going 😆. Thanks for watching. Andy

    I thought that the shoe locker was a great until we got our motor mover installed, and that is where they put it, now the locker has been made redundant.

    • @MakeWayWithTheMorleys
      @MakeWayWithTheMorleys  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is the case for us too, I’m going to look into the possibility of moving to somewhere better suited. Ie about 20cms towards the front of the van.

    • @apriljam4162
      @apriljam4162 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MakeWayWithTheMorleys That makes a lot more sense, we are actually thinking of removing it altogether, we only use it to a line the wheels in order to get the wheel locks on, a bit of a shame, they sell it as a shoe cupboard and forget to mention that it wont if you are getting a motor mover.

    WHY! WHY! WHY! is it that all the sizes, berths, axles ETC are always mentioned. But hardly ever mentioned is the HEIGHT ????? I have a caravan and mine is the same. You can get the awning sizes, the cover sizes, Width, Length, Weight. but never the HEIGHT. Not just this video as most are the same but this really does infuriate me. (do we not have bridges, tunnels ETC in this country) ???

    • @JustMeZero988
      @JustMeZero988 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      ooops, Just looked at your technical Specifications and you have put it there, but lots of caravans out there miss it out so I stand my ground with this.

      Hi Colin, I take your point on board but wonder how much variance there is between models?! As we're about to embark on a search for a new Caravan (well we did at the NEC very recently) I will make sure to include that details in the description for the Caravans we looked at. Andy
