- CarX Street has been launched on iOS and Android (soon) devices but how what should we expect from the PC version of the game? The hype for CarX Street has certainly set the bar too high. I hope players will give this game some time with the updates. I have a feeling it's gonna look rough in the beginning, quite similar to the mobile game version. Anyway here's my take on PC and Console version of CarX Street.

3:10 honestly i don't mind having to wait a lil longer. CarX tech is always great about communicating with their fanbase about what's going on wrt development, and I appreciate that they take their time to make sure they put out a great product. Not to mention, since console gets released last, that means all the bugs and glitches that show up in mobile and PC versions will get fixed by the time it drops for console, lol.
also completely correct about how CarX started off as a basic af mobile drift game, and built the game up with tons of regular updates. it's really cool how they went from a basic af mobile drift game, to a hugely popular game franchise that spans most major gaming platforms

Facts I don’t know why people are so edgy on carx lol postponing stuff there a small team and everyone of there projects they have ever released are awesome
For a mobile game I’m quite impressed. My only complaint is how low the money you win from races is. Not to mention the fact that the premium race has a 3 hour cooldown. Other than that I have no issues with it. Just a few frame drops here and there but I’m enjoying it so far.
you can set ur time 3h ahead to time skip, but note changing the time back to original means the timer goes back

It’s a good decent game for mobile. It probably will have updates in the future but for now, it’s very good 👍🏻

You never know though, the PC version might already feel totally different to the mobile version, that could be why it got a few delays?? Either way the game looks great even on mobile, super keen to just kick back and play some racing games this christmas season.

As I’ve already played the game on iOS, I mean, I feel like the PC version is going to be completely different compared to the iOS version which feels like a mobile game but once the PC version gets out, it’ll probably have a different handling system for controllers and steering wheel support but will definitely make updates for this in the future

Gotta disagree with the gas part I love that aspect and I wish more developers out there did that for their games it add immersion in the game tbh plus buying gas isn’t expensive either and you can get bigger fuel tanks in the game so I don’t see and issue with it
Same! Gas is not a problem at all; if you find one giftbox somewhere then you get 500-2000 bucks which is enough to fill the tank; Plus gas restores with the time automatically (it take one real hour to have full tank)
Completely agree. I always wanted this type of features in racing games. It’s cool to stop at gas station and refuel ur car. It makes the game more alive. There so many racing games with gas station but they are all impractical
Majority of mobile games require you to wait for a cooldown or buy gas with real money. CarX was smart about this and let us use earned in-game money to buy gas.
It’s so easy to add an option to turn off fuel usage, for those who don’t want it.
It would be cool to have the option of tyre wear and fuel usage while street drifting, for a bit more immersion, but not mandatory.
Yeah once u turn online on you forget gas is a chore and more a hangout spot
I hope CarXstreet Gets the support it needs and deserves to make the game better with updates

I've been playing carX street on mobile for two days, it feels good and the gas system is not really annoying cuz there are many gas station on the map and you can actually fast travel to there

My only complaint is how pay to win it is, if you don’t pay it’s gonna be hard to progress. I understand it’s a mobile game but it’s incredibly difficult for me
it’s been fine with me. the only real problem i’ve had is how slow the game is. even though i’m on an iphone 13 pro max i can barely run medium graphics and even then my fps will still drop and lag
That’s Mobile games for you dude. Wait till it releases on PC and Console it won’t be much of a grind.

I have an iPhone 11 and I got the game super early multiple months before and most people have just hacked the game but after these months I’m stuck on drift events and I’ve gotten the corvette
I hope they add 60/30 fps option and better optimization but so far it runs pretty good on A13 but just some few frame drops.

I hope the really do release it on the current release date.. It does seem a good time to release it. You made a lot of good points in the video. I am hoping that Car X Street gets as good as car x as quick as it can so its on par or better. Kinda gotten a little bored on Car X with all the same maps for so long. Map mods don't seem as frequently busy as the base game maps so I barely play them :(
Main reason I didn't buy into Overdrift Festival was that it is made by the same scam dev that made Peak Angle, RDS and Furidashi lol .
Hopefully we can still have the ability for Graphics Mods, would be very nice.

Graphics need to be way better especially car sounds , they need to make a game that doesn't have a mobile version, mobile version drags the pc version down

I’ve been playing mobile it’s not the best it takes a lot of grinding I’m not the biggest fan but I mean I guess it’s alright but the map is very dope but let’s hope the updates are gonna make it better
Hey Goose.. and Bob, all they have to do, as far as gas stations go, is make it a selectable option box that you can tick, or untick in the "gameplay" menu, or when joining a server for multiplayer.

Interesting thing is npc cars also have physics about traction(I guess it is)
They even countersteer if needed

It’s amazing! I’ve been enjoying this game so far but I would love if they work on the optimisation. It’s runs fairly well on my iPad Pro M1 but compared to how capable the processor is, I am sure it can perform better in terms of both framerate and the graphics rendering distance.
Overall, the game is nice but it would be amazing if they add some more missions kind of stuff, like Stunt Tracks and stuff like that. They should also add more vehicles like Bikes and Planes. It can literally hype up this game. Considering how good the map and the environment is, ability to fly planes will be just game changing.
And, If they add boats, man it’s gonna be crew 2 mobile 😂

what the devs need to do for the next cars street update is to make in game currency or the races a bit easier because it was so damn hard to level up with the x5 Miata which is strange

Definitely I'm waiting for the pc release but rn im a little disappointed... they didn't put the nissan gtr r33 on the mobile version. I hope that on the pc version we get it. Is my main car for drift and is always the ignored one of the gtr's

I see why you say it will be kinda mobile like on pc and console but let's not forget that carx was the fist console and pc game they did so with this being the second one I would think it would be safe to assume they learned from the fist one and we won't have to go through all the bs as much as we would have

The original CarX DR game on mobile had a Civic that was front wheel I remember

I like that the carx Street navigation arrows that are on the road are just just like for The Horizon
I hope they release it on consoles sooner rather than later because I am really excited even if it takes a while to get updated
Personally, I don't mind the refuel system they implemented. It's quite a decent bit of fresh air since I have encouraged very few games in mobile with that feature which is fun. I don't think it will be that annoying. There are upgrades to increase fuel tank sizes to reduce on how frequent you need to refuel.

On steam it takes like 1 to 2 weeks for steam to approve your game and tell you to make any changes, but for consoles it takes way longer like a month or even more if you need to add changes to the PS4 page so that's probably why they get it more late than PC player

just like carx started as a mobile game on pc and as it was updated it became the beautiful thing it is today, if the devs want it, the same will happen with street, and that way it will become extremely famous
If they have good sounding cars and fun/adjustable rev limiters I'm sold
It feels like the map was meant to be bigger with all of the roads leading out of the map that get very awkwardly cut off. I guess we’ll see if it’s bigger on pc, or who knows we might even get different maps to choose from years down the line. CarX actually does live service games very well compared to a lot of bigger devs so even if we get a very bare CarX game right now it wouldn’t be so bad.
Definitely feel like they had to cut some off for mobile which would make sense. Even if not right away on console/pc it gives them the option for expansions. Kinda like the roads leading out of some maps on car x that u can drive on like in la block and that other downtown map. Seems like areas never finished

1:44 It wasn't the 1st time a FWD car was in CarX though.
I remember a FWD car back at CarX Drift Racing long time ago, which is the "Honver TR" (Honda FD2 Civic Type R)
Unfortunately, along with the other Honda's (such as the Ninja SX/Honda NSX) in that game, it was removed due to what I believe is Honda requesting the team to remove their cars from that game.

I finally downloaded carx street for android, and my first impression gave nfs underground 2 vibes, and the map definitely reminds me of Bayview 100%. So far, I'm amazed how far mobile games have came.
What I like is the only reason we have Gas in CarX street and Nos is because of us, the community we were the ones who said we wanted houses and Gas and Nos and what type of nos we wanted. I like that!
I hope they add rooms for people to do mini meets and stuff like dat
I have some questions: cops and weather (rain and fog)? Midnight Club vibes? Snow? More cars? Imagine bikes :) Fully detailed car mods? Other games' vibes? Content Creators' races? (Like driving AI with their names) Gas prices? Rally? Character customization? (Like in Forza Horizon, The Crew 2, Test Drive Unlimited, Juiced 2, NFS Heat and maybe Unbound), IDK I'm so hyped that I saved a good amount of money to instantly buy this game :D

i feel like the refueling system is actually pretty cool bc not a lot of games have it and would be nice to have something new and it brings realism to the game
I have some things to say about the game, i am playing since three or four days.
Gas station is not bothering, as long as you have fuel tank upgrades, you can compete much longer, and when you are upgrading fuel tank, you change balance of you car, and so handling is a bit different.
I have great hopes on map expension.
My real bad point is that INSANE rubberbanding when you overtake your opponents, this is messed up. But if you have a clean race you can get away for it
But for now, i am enjoying the game, slow grinding, upgrading a fwd car to race and the miata for drifting, drifting is also hard with low hp cars.

I remember telling people in car x Facebook posts that having to fuel up in a video game where you’re literally driving all the time but everybody thought I was being dumb. Guess it’s like sorta bittersweet to see I was right. I agree that having them for nitrous refills is acceptable it constantly fueling up is too annoying.

I don't know if you've played the mobile version yet but many, many cars are missing from carx drift racing online, about 3/4 of the carx drift racing online cars aren't there, hopefully they add them in the PC version
I think you're forgetting about a BIG portion of the gamers that play or want to play this game for realistic car meets, the re-fuel system is a wicked idea! We complained about not having it in so many games now all of a sudden you think it will be annoying, look how many fuel stations there are! I think it brings a different and realistic aspect to car gaming community, especially those who like there car meets and realism. We have enough car games with no re-fuel system, think we should be thankful that they finally gave us one, and on such a cool map which will hopefully get bigger! I can't wait to join a group of drivers and cruise round or street race and then once in a while we all pull up to the fuel station to re-fuel, that's an epic thought! On top of all that, fast travel is in the game, so literally no excuse or reason to get annoyed at the fact you have to re-fuel once in a while, been playing the game since release, the only time I use fast travel is to get to a paint shop or my garage as they are far apart.
Im excited for the. Mobile version I hope it doesn't lag

The only car game where the developers actually listen to their fans every update. So both games will be updated. Plus don't forget it's a multi console game I love that part where I can be drifting with a player on Xbox or pc and I'm on ps4.
