I made a bearing press out of a hydraulic Jack, it works great, just need some common sense and a welder, I been working on atc and ATV all my life and I still do it today, I am 63 yrs old and I don't mind working on my Polaris Sportsman ATV, as I have done just about everything from new radiator to new cam and rockers and valves and springs and chain and sprockets on the top end of my 2007 Polaris Sportsman 500, and it wasn't easy but I did it and it ran great, I traded it in on a 2014 Polaris Sportsman ATV and I have it still, one of the best motor pro star.
I have as 680 Rincon solid machine. I blew up the transmission plowing snow and upgraded the gears with Honda pioneer side by side guts and it’s unstoppable now.
My 1980s Suzuki LT250 had tire pressures of 5F and 8R, and it went almost anywhere at that. It had a tendency (as did all Suz models of that era) to rear up when riding terrain as you & Sam have done, tossing the rider off, so I utilised some leftover lead ballast wired to the front of the frame to hold the front down. Suggestion: a fish crate for a front basket, and a cordless chainsaw (with spare battery) when you next go trail-riding.
I just love how lush those deciduous forests are there. Here in Finland it's all just pine and spruce forests which generally are quite dark with minimal undergrowth.
I remember playing golf and staying at the Nevele Resort way back in the 1990's, part of the Borscht Belt... Sad to see it's demise. Looks like fun to explore now.
I use about 4 lbs of air in the front tires and in the back 6 lbs of air, depending what type of surface you are riding in, I don't wear a helmet while riding my 4wheeler, but I own 2 helmets, I been in a few wipe outs on my ATV and ATC, and wasn't seriously hurt, just my pride, I own Polaris Sportsman ATV, as I have owned every one of those ATV'S and I have too say Polaris Sportsman ATV are the best, actually I had a 1999 Polaris Sportsman ATV and in 5 years I put 44,000 miles on it, and lots of new tires and cv joints, and most of the mileage was riding in the woods on trails and getting muddy in swamps and old ponds with lots of mud. I am 63 years old and I love to get muddy

Softer the better for the ATV when dealing with a lot of rocks, etc. But if you run on roads more or really flat area's I like to have more pressure, but you are for sure wanting the lower end of pressured for your standard use.
The abandoned resort blew my mind. The Nevele Grande Hotel opened in 1901and closed in 2009. There are several abandoned resorts like this in the "Borscht Belt".
@@scotts3574 Appears to be refrigeration lines in the floor. Diggin' those trusses over the arena. There are numerous photos of the resort when it was still in business.
Thanks for the name of the abandoned property. Very interesting history. It’s been closed since the 2009 financial crisis. There’s a Wiki page on it. The current owners should rent it out as a Zombie Apocalypse movie set!

I replace CV joints all the time on my Polaris Sportsman ATV and it only takes 4 nuts and tire comes off one that holds the upper A arm and 2 on the bottom of the axle housing and the nut that holds the axle on the hub bearing and hub housing, and then I have a slide hammer with adapter for pulling the CV joint off there transmission. Works great. Takes me 30 minutes to take it apart and put it back together and go riding in the woods in the mud in the middle of.
You got that right. I still ride the old Honda ATCs. Got a couple of 250ES and a 350X from 1985. Still going strong. I finally took the plunge on a new Rubicon quad last year, and that electronic shifting setup looked like a huge potential headache. I made sure to get one with the manual foot shifter. I LOVE it! Like riding a cloud compared to those solid axle trikes... though I still love them, too.
@James Hanna I had a fourtrax 300 for years and years until it got stolen. I also had a 400ex sport quad...sold that for a brand new 2013 can am commander.
It's not the electronics that are bad (since ya know, it's still mechanic half way) it's the software that's garbage. A good way to make these things work right is ... to just rip off the stupid entrails and take something really basic stupid that does the same things (up shift, low shift, power up/down) and graft it on top. But... who has the time? Nobody. They're still pretty stout.

I remember playing golf and staying at the Nevele Resort way back in the 1990's, part of the Borscht Belt... Sad to see it's demise. Looks like fun to explore now.
More entertaining than anything on prime time.
Many thanks I enjoyed your post for 2.5 hours since I got up and drank ☕️ of course refill good day Andy and other subscribers..
Sam is absolutely fearless. You know this has got some old but worthy content in it when it shows her when she had long hair!
They broke up
@@ethanschleihauf7313 really? How do you know this? They looked like such a great couple together!
@@kevinjansen3785 Sam mentioned it in her own video. In the same vid I learned she was only 18-19 when they started dating too. I'm not surprised it didn't work out.
@@ethanschleihauf7313 are you serious?? They broke up? They’ve been dating for a long time. I will say she’s extremely manly for a lady. Even walks like a man. Always thought it was a pretty odd couple.
@michaelbonner4212 ya definitely something odd about "her", hopefully the next one is a keeper.
I like this compilation video. It's better than movie.
Better than anything Disney has produced in the last 25 years. Of course, I'm stating the obvious
I'm 72 y/o and learned something new today. Never knew a smidget of air was actually called a "Drop" of air. I guess we old dogs can learn new tricks!
I can't remember the conversion, but I think it's 3 smidges to a drop, 2 drops to a dab, and then 3 dabs per dollop.
We here in virginia love your videos and appreciate the hard work you do and provide us with, and we also love all your dog buddies,Daisy, levi,& blu.thanks Andrew always look forward to your new content take care and be safe..
This is a great vidio Andy and Sam ,we want more of these please, bet that slate structure gave you some inspiration to build on ya own land
Softer the better for the ATV when dealing with a lot of rocks, etc. But if you run on roads more or really flat area's I like to have more pressure, but you are for sure wanting the lower end of pressured for your standard use.
Your Drone camera angles are awesome!
The abandoned resort blew my mind. The Nevele Grande Hotel opened in 1901and closed in 2009. There are several abandoned resorts like this in the "Borscht Belt".
Was there an outdoor ice rink there, that would have been a cool rink?
@@scotts3574 Appears to be refrigeration lines in the floor. Diggin' those trusses over the arena. There are numerous photos of the resort when it was still in business.
@@notapplicable430 Probably built in 50”s or 60”s
My question is , how the heck inscriptions in Russian get there ?
Thanks for the name of the abandoned property. Very interesting history. It’s been closed since the 2009 financial crisis. There’s a Wiki page on it.
The current owners should rent it out as a Zombie Apocalypse movie set!
Tire is ten minutes old... sidewall... dang!
A hundred ATVs... Reminds me of the time a Vespa rally went by my work in S.F. in the mid nineties. The only person impressed was me. What is not hilarious about a hundred Vespas stinking up the place going by?
"Aftermarket anything is junk...whatever"... Ha!!! Why does this man just crack me up? I love him, and his maybe girlfriend and dogs. He's EARNED the manliness, the moniker, the status.
pleased to see you are doing so well ... financial success brings choices and its nice spending time with your son.. 👍🏻
Beautiful place y’all are riding at Andrew, I love those huge rock walls and structures! Cool
SAM IS AWESOME!! Operates all that heavy equipment and she's right there getting her hands dirty working & fixing stuff with you.. SAM IS A CUTIE!! Wish I could find a woman like her ❤...And fearless climbing up high places and a beast on the ATV,S .. I really enjoy seeing you 2 working and playing together!!! Hello Cody & Blue 🐶🐕
watching cody run is a joy
He's a rare breed. A Usain Boltrador Retriever.
Andrews videos make me really want to pressure wash, so much mud 😂
Ребята. Вы. Просто. Молодцы. Та. Держать
That was a very nice comment for what it worth.
I just hope Andrew makes more videos, and don’t wait 2-3 weeks and upload 1. This channel could grow so much If there was more content from day to day work jobs
Those boys love to run, 😂 that Cody doesn’t stop! Blue is getting bigger too, I love those kids of yours Andrew!😊
That would be such a simple thing to do with a good 3t or better 5t arbor press - Andrew, that's the most useful tool in a mechanical shop!
Those old Honda quads were bullet proof!! Once they went electronic.....well you know how it goes.
Man the second property is starting to look amazing nice work 😊👍
Sam is a badass she's not afraid of getting dirty she's not afraid of trying anyting
I put hard plastic blocks on the back side of my foot rests to block sticks and junk from ripping my CV joint boots. It works great.
I really enjoy watching you two.🥰
