This is a remarkable front-row seat to Colonial NYC. Thank you! Your videos are a gift to all who watch them!

I'm absolutely loving drawing accurate skylines of the city at the time, it's such a beautiful city, that is, city of New York. My favorite passion is late 1600s into early 1700s.
Wonderful video, captivated from start to finish.

I accidentally found your video. We all have a history. Love your awesome knowledge. I try to imagine all that you tell and show us ma’am. I live in Oklahoma and have been reading about when this star was founded with 1889 land rush. I love all the history and am greatful of historical artifacts for the actual time frame. Have a great day you are wonderful.❤

Well done video! My family loved going on your Patriot tour last year. We were astonished at your detail explaining the extent colonial New York City played in the days leading up to and during the war. I grew up on Long Island and NEVER heard half of the details you explained on our tour. I love your storytelling style and have developed a great appreciation for New York City's heritage & role during the 1700's.

You do an outstanding job with your videos. I am an American history, junkie, and although fairly well read, in regard to colonial, New York, your videos help put the visual and geographic pieces together for me.

I’m writing a book that has scenes that are set in NYC circa 1777. It involves the Queen Head tavern and St Paul’s Chapel. Being unable to travel, this video has been very helpful. Thank you very much!

Humm, according to the Columbia Pictorial History of NYC, the drawing we’re looking at is where Broadway & 5th Ave met near union square! In the book, the caption read : “The intersection where 5th ave & Broadway meets. The vantage point is looking south from Broadway about where 18th street is today”! The guy herding the sheep, is proceeding north on 5th Ave (Broadway is forking left)! The fenced off wooded area to the left, is where Union Square Park will eventually be laid out (this is in reference to the drawing shown at 25:01 in the video)!

Thank you so much for sharing this. Ive come to believe we made a mistake in 1776 and could have avoided at least 3 wars and abolished slavery decades earlier if we'd come to a reasonable agreement with the British.
