Hi what heat do u put the ninja for cakes and how many mins for I have same machine and learning to use my new machine plus learing to cook Haha thank u.
@@MyGadgetKitchen I baked a cake in a cake pan inside the ninja foodi yesterday and it was a basic disaster. It was stuck to the pan and came out in chunks. Next time I’ll try it your way.
Now That's what I'm talking about. That's the only way we will learn. I did a pot in pot with rice on bottom and Pasta in top pan. Pressured for 20 min. and both turned out great! Love your videos. Thanks Tate
Works great. Use a separate bowl to mix. Grease and flour the inside of cooker about 6 inches up from bottom. Start checking after 25 min. Mine went 45 min at 325. Remove and jiggle cake up and to loosen let set 10 min. Place a plate on top of cooker pan and quickly flip cake falls out in one piece.
I just started cooking and found this an amazing video. As a guy who never cooked much until recently, I hated the mess of baking a cake, ie, many pans, etc. Doing it all in this pot will make me more prone to baking more cakes. Wonder if you could do an apple pie in there.
Thank you for your recipe using just the cooking pot! I have made banana bread from scratch (not using a cake mix) several times.I bake at 250 for 50 min using the air fryer lid. I let it rest inside for 10 min at least or sometimes I just leave it to cool inside overnight. It comes out great. I love that I have few utensils to wash and I don't have to heat a big oven for just 1 cake. Thank you for the idea :-)
wonder what I did wrong. it's cooling right now but it is like it rose, then moved, then burned. a little bit. it is very very poofy. thanks for the video. hope mine turns out edible lol
@@sarahamber48 baby...the cake was cooked through. It was super hot. Thanks for watching tho. P.S. I was a professional baker. Definitely know when a cake is undercooked.
I might sound stupid so I have the newer one from costco. It has a baking option. Can I use the baking option instead of my oven for like chicken parmigiana for example? It’s the same thing right? lol…
Hi Chrystal i need your help,,i am making a Pernil from a channel called Salty Tales and she said to preheat the foodi but I noticed that i could not adjust time for 5 minutes by hitting the start button the way she did,,is my unit defective??
Well you can bake in an air fryer, but the video is specifically about mixing and baking in the Ninja pot. Air Fryer baskets have holes, so this wouldn't work.
Whew this is 5 years old lol but in the pinned comment I say if you cool the full 10 minutes it comes out fine. You can't line the pot if you're mixing in the pot 😉
Got it ,she must have had 1 of the older models?saw a new video she posted and she now is using the method that i was familiar with,,thx though appreciate you..
It's not needed and it would be in the way anyway. Remember I mixed inside the pot. All u have to do is let the cake cool for 10 minutes and it pops right out.

Wow what a great idea Chrystal no messy dishes just a delicious chocolate cake.
great video! I love your style and ninja videos! they make me smile

Ohhh my goodness! I got a box of chocolate cake mix I can't wait to do this, thank you so much!!!
Time to get to baking! Enjoy! 😋
THANKS for your video!! My mom sent me one 3wks ago, and I have a box of Duncan Hines yellow cake mix - I'm gonna try that!! It looked good. Thanks

@Jessica Nguyen I tried other temperatures but yes 250 is perfect for me.
I was looking for ideas to make a quick cake...especially while on lockdown. Thanks for making this video. Going to try it this week! P.
Awesome 😁 let me know how you like it! Super easy and barely any clean up since you mix and bake right in the pot.
I noticed you made the cake in the big pot. Could you put parchment paper in the bottom if you mixed your cake in a different bowl?
You can do it however you like... The purpose of this tho was to do it all in the pot
🤣Girl... I was about to try this, but looked it up to see if other people did it, and your video was the top one. 😘🤗
Just what I was looking for...thankyou!!
IM VERY IMPRESSED 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Did you preheat your pot?
Great Job! I was literally just looking for ways to not heat up the oven! Gotta love the foodi!
Awesomeness I'm baking a cake in my foodie for first time

My Wife is gonna be sooooo mad when I bust out with a CAKE!!😄🤴🏾👸🏾
😂 😂 😂 But it's gonna be soooooo good 😋
Chrystal, I use my Gourmia cake maker for my cakes, but it's nice having this option using the Ninja Foodi. Thanks.
With the cake maker, no mixing and it's prettier ❤️
Thank you. I made did one with a sugar spice cake mix. I replaced water with apple cider juice. I’ll let you know turns out.
It like it turned out great. Update, it tastes awesome.
use a baking paper next tine?
One pot, very easy 👌🏾 very good
One pot cake! Very nice! 💓
Love dump cakes so cool thanks
You're welcome ☺
Not sure if this qualifies as a dump cake tho, since you have to actually mix it together...
Ever tried boxed Angel Food cake in the foodi? Since it rises do you think it would be okay to cook in the foodi?
No I haven't. It would have to rise pretty high to reach the top... I think you should be fine
Oh...and I subscribed too! Lol
Thank you crystal
Girl thank you, about to bake some cake.
Awesome 😁 how'd it go?
@@MyGadgetKitchen Great

Cool it worked great!
Brownies?
Sure 😊
AWESOME IDEA... THANKS
No problem 😊
Great job
The cake needs to cook more. If it falls apart when you take it out it’s not done all the way. But you did a good job trying.

didn't see the oil added
Hi Chrystal i need your help,,i am making a Pernil from a channel called Salty Tales and she said to preheat the foodi but I noticed that i could not adjust time for 5 minutes by hitting the start button the way she did,,is my unit defective??
There's no timer for the sauté setting. Are they using the air crisp setting?
Why didn't you lay the pan with parchment paper?
Because I mixed the ingredients inside the pot and it's not needed.
Was this with the air fryer part?
Bake not air fry
@@MyGadgetKitchen ok, thank you. I just have an air fryer.
Well you can bake in an air fryer, but the video is specifically about mixing and baking in the Ninja pot. Air Fryer baskets have holes, so this wouldn't work.
@@MyGadgetKitchen yes but I have a 6" pan that fits inside my air fryer perfectly.
Yes, I said you can bake in the af, you just can't do what I did in the video is all I'm saying
Nicely done ma belle! ya think parchment paper on the bottom would help? so cool!
Thanks! Not sure about mixing with paper, but the cake was just way too hot. I know better, but was excited 😂
Chocolatylicious 😋
Maybe can line the bottom
Whew this is 5 years old lol but in the pinned comment I say if you cool the full 10 minutes it comes out fine. You can't line the pot if you're mixing in the pot 😉
Whaaaa? I've never heard of Black person say they put their oven on anything but 350°. I had to run it back to make sure I heard you correctly. 😂
😂 😂 😂 This video is so old... What did I say? Things are different in an air fryer lol

👋🏼 Is this for a 6.5 Foodie ❓ Please and thank you ☺️
It doesn't matter which size you have
use parchment paper on the bottom
