    GF has been disappointing in their fleet modernization. They still have almost half of their fleet as old Air craft and don't think any of their new NEOs fly to India. They are losing potential customers with an old product who would definitely choose a better airline.
    Hope they bring the NEOs to India soon.

      The a320neo quite often flies to Delhi and also Hyderabad with a321neo occasionally on denser routes such as Cochin and Kozhikode. The covid has obviously pushed back the fleet modernization, by 2026 all of their older aircrafts will eventually be phased out

      @flax5685 hoping to see a NEO operating soon to Bangalore.

    What a rare, winter 09 departure from BOM and you spoilt the video by speeding it 5x esp. those moments when we could've enjoyed that AY rolling out and ET crossing the threshold for landing. Again, departure and turn around from BOM involved banking right and you simply edited out that bit of the city skyline. We could've glimpsed, even if only a bit through the morning smog, the sealink, Bandra etc. as the acft. headed out over the Arabian Sea.

      Thank you for the helpful feedback. I had to speed it up as the video was becoming super long. I'll keep this in mind for my next videos. If you want a Takeoff only video, I have the video and can upload it separately.

      Also I haven't edited the takeoff at all except x5. Even I was eager to capture that. The bank angle was more esulting in the city line going out of sight. And there was no sight of sea link and marine drive as we flew south of it.

    Its unfortunate and a mystery why Gulf Air does not deploy its Dreamliners 787 on India routes while does so in Bahrain Pakistan sectors even though its major revenue comes in from India routes 🇮🇳

    • @vedkale737
      @vedkale737  ปีที่แล้ว

      Soon, in the future, they might deploy the 787. Let's see!

    • @Fai-MA
      @Fai-MA ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not sure if it uses 787s on Pakistan routes. But really disheartening to see they operate their outdated Interiors to India. They have received several A320, A321, B787 which iam sure can be deployed at different India routes.
      All gulf carriers carry a bug chunk of India flyers so they better use good flights. I think that's why Emirates, Qatar, and Etihad have the edge unlike smaller players like Gulf Air, Oman Air, and Kuwait....even though the last 2 has deployed better Flights to India routes....

    • @wjo576
      @wjo576 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Faisal Mohamed ...our Pakistani employees travel to Lahore and other cities in Pakistan, and B787 aircrafts are indicated on their GF tickets. KU uses old planes on Kuwait India routes, which are a bit soiled and rickety.

      @Fai-MA ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @W Jo ummm....KU is using A320 NEO to Bangalore so atleast a good point here.... for Bangalore route...all gulf airliners are using decent aircrafts except GF....
      Back in 2010 they had shutdown their Bangalore operations and restarted before COVID. Seeing their condition it won't be surprising to shutting down that route again

      Bruh, Gulf Air uses their A320s and A321s on even prestigious routes to Paris, Frankfurt and Milan.

      I have no clue. Maybe it depends on the type of ticket and journey. You can check on their website for more information.
