- George Russell put together an incredible performance running a one-stop strategy, however an incredible Sunday from Mercedes would eventually become murky after Russell was disqualified for having an underweight car.
The real f1 commentary. If they could upload faster they would get more views than the official f1 channel
It’s a crime the F1 channel didn’t use Crofty’s commentary for the British Grand Prix when Lewis won. Now I use TSN for all the race highlights.

It's probably in a contract somewhere that they're not allowed to upload these highlights until some amount of hours after the official F1 channel does, but I don't know for sure.

Great race and ignoring the DQ I would have had some grown up words with George Russell. I accept as an F1 driver wins are everything BUT, George was aware how quickly Piastri was catching them, it was reckless to continue holding Lewis back. Taking the win even though he knew the McLaren would finish not only very close but possibly in the lead was selfish to the team and the employees who put him on the grid every race day. You may say he did a great job defending against Lewis, really ? REALLY ? Do you think Lewis just might have been much more cautious and respectful since it was his own team mate ? If it had been anyone else in front of Lewis on the last few laps it would have been totally different.

In being used for 34 laps, 16 more than Hamilton, Russell's hard compound tyres would have been more worn and thus lighter. Just a theory, not saying this is why he was underweight, but surely a possibly reason that needs to be factored in. Maybe the one stop strategy wasn’t so wise in hindsight. Mercedes team was maybe too focussed on getting a 1/2 and just forgot to factor this in.
They weighted the car without wheels.
100% correct, before race weights are similar, after race 1 has 1.5 kg more lost.
What was the variable? The no of laps done by the tires.
So glad the smug greedy George scored 0 for this race.

Is rubbish at the start of every race. If Norris can learn to get off the line cleanly, he might challenge Verstappen otherwise he is ineffective.

Nah, he is heading towards the end of his career and has won everything and broken many records. He has nothing to prove. Driving for Ferrari is a childhood dream. Plus he gets $100 million a year for it

I think it's up to the team to make that decision, not George. They could have given the order if they thought it was too close.
