Battery life on a Quest is going to be entirely dependent on what games you play. Features like Air Link tend to put a hurt on the battery life as well.
Awesome video! Love how analytical these videos are. Would really like to see a more in-depth video talking about breachers or maybe even into the radius. Those games are so good and your channel is amazing!
I respect the determination here lol, the only time I have ever gone for 7 ish hours was when I got my link cable. Also wanted to say thank you for the broken edge video, I just recently got it and I cant stop playing it lol
Hey virtual bro! I just wanted to say that I am very impressed by the quality of your videos. You must a lot of time on them. Thank you for providing us with your amazing content. I’ve even bought some of the games you have reviewed.
I feel bad for people who get VR fatigue easily. I can recall a few times where I've spent over a dozen hours in a single play session. Of course that was totally no-lifing, spending time in VR chat, with my friends, but I had a great time. I've had my VR legs since 2021 so getting sick is extremely improbable.
I just found your channel and I love the videos you do for VR! I've had a Quest 2 sitting around for what seems like forever and I just can't find any interest in picking it up but in the past few days after seeing your videos I pulled it back out to experience some great games I'd never heard of! If I had one suggestion on a game to cover I'd say Yuki really captivated me, and I don't hear anyone ever talking about it.
Mad man, respect for this kind of dedication to stay true. Also that flip at 0:40 MY GOD it gives me slight motion sickness just imagining what it must be like in vr!
I don't comment much, but I'd like to say that I'm proud to be here toward the beginning of your TH-cam career. This is going to be a fun journey to watch you undertake!
Hi Mr. VirtualBroReviews... I just stumble upon your channel this evening and I really hooked on the quality of your reviews. I'm glad TH-cam recommends your channel to me. It feels so satisfying to watch someone that is really enjoying what they find interesting. I don't even play or planned to buy a VR headset but I will watch your next upload just for the hell of it. TLDR : love your videos, it's amazing, subbed. 👍🏼

man your videos are really fun to watch and it has a lot of information too. It's really good subbed liked all your videos love to see your content more👍
true but having a cord that u can possibly rip out messing up the charger port is a risk I wouldn't take also I care about my expensive headsets health😭
note: you can get a 10000 mAh battery pack for half the price of the headstrap, put it in your pocket, and run a cord to the headset. It makes for a nearly cordless experience for an extremely budget price. That is what I do and since I started my headset has literally never given out before my eyes and brain do.
Started with Survival Nation. Any Idea on a good Wiki-Page that explains some of the mechanics. Most is done well but some of the skills that you can get with the skill tree (like dismanteling equpment) I did not find an explaination on how to do it.
The disparity between the content and the views and subs is massive, don't get me wrong four thousand people is a lot of people, but this is the content quality I'd expect from a channel fifty times the size. Great work honestly, keep it up :)
Me still as a Vive user: "Look at what they have to do to mimic a fraction of our power!" Looool, to be honest i used to he much more of a degenerate that i hit around 76 hours straight in vrchat just streaming too... i mean im not gonna lie i enjoyed it as much as i got sleep deprived, i had moments where i knocked out for minutes to an hour sometimes, and i also spent the nights chilling and drinking with people while the day was just hoping from game to exploration worlds... and here i am 3 years later trying to get back in the mood to enjoy vr as much as i did again >.
Really great content showing off the games, but I suggest if you review a head strap or other hardware in the future you include a section where you discuss in detail your experience with the hardware. You mentioned it getting uncomfortable after several hours but other than that you didn't talk about if you liked it, pros and cons vs other head straps, etc. Overall though, I really enjoyed the rapid fire showing off games.
Ay, I don't know if you've done a video on it yet, or if you will, but I hadn't heard anything about the VR game "Until You Fall", and I highly recommend it to anyone. It's a VR Rougelite and it's fantastic.
can you review VOX MACHINAE? it's the only vr game I ever play anymore, and I hope more games in the future strive to emulate, it uses the current state of vr the best out of any game I've ever seen so far.
You should try reviewing/playing iron lights, similar to that other fencing game but with slightly different mechanics! They are both so fun and I believe that if you enjoyed Broken Blade you WILL enjoy ironlights!
That first game, breachers, definitely seemed to be based on valorant. 2 of the guns are named after valorant agents, viper and omen, and the UI looks very similar. The gadgets in the game represent the agent's abilities. Also, the RCP looks very similar to the bulldog.
Yeah it's kinda a combo of val (or maybe more so CS:GO) and siege, it's got an economy system like val but the map design and feel of the game is definitely more in line with siege
If you play vr chat you will find alot of people play for alot longer the 7 hours straight. There was a time when I was doing 10 hours sessions daily. Iv also spent 5 days straight on vr only stopping to eat and stuff
Wow, you spent 7 hours in VR and didn't play one rhythm game like beat saber or spend any time in VRChat? That is an accomplishment. I have PCVR, a Valve Index, and I don't think I have ever gone over 4 hours. For me battery life isn't the limiting factor it is just wanting to get out of VR after a while. I have slept in VR but I'm not sure how long I slept, added up that probably beat my 4 hour record, but sleeping doesn't really count.
I record my playtime, I get in a good like 6 - 7 hours in on my index per vr session maximum 9 hours, but I take breaks that are decently long because I'm not a fucking lunatic
@@VirtualBroVR no problem, I hope you get exactly what you deserve and that is only growth. I have gotten quite a bit of inspiration and been bored playing my vr and I am most definitely going to go back and watch this again to play these games for sure

Fun fact: on breachers you can jump through a window, while grappled to a ledge press the right joystick and you'll jump into the building,l.
You’ve done it Charlie! You’ve made me a subscriber!

Do you have any advice on making vr content. Also did you reach out to that headset brand or did they reach out to you?
Nice videos! I just subbed. I did reach out to them, as well as literally every other Quest accessory brand and game developer I could find!
Really enjoyed this vid can’t believe I just found your account and I am already absolutely obsessed. Deserved a follow 😊

Seven hours straight in VR? That just sounds like the average experience of an enfranchised vrchat user.
i play vrchat and managed to play for 9 hours straight before both running out of charge and brain power. also great vid
I have the battery strap and I had to buy two of them because of how easily it broke but it doesn’t lie about the battery life and that’s for sure
Is bonelab really worth it? Not sure if I should buy it

You should try reviewing/playing iron lights, similar to that other fencing game but with slightly different mechanics! They are both so fun and I believe that if you enjoyed Broken Blade you WILL enjoy ironlights!

I gotta try this i just got a 10k milliamp hour battery pack to strap to my quest with rubber bands

Wow :0

Oh cool! I can definitely see the influence!
Yeah it's kinda a combo of val (or maybe more so CS:GO) and siege, it's got an economy system like val but the map design and feel of the game is definitely more in line with siege
Does the headset feel heavier with the battery
7 Hours? Rookie numbers!!

One day I spent 17 hours in VR (I play plugged in), had nothing to do that day so sat down and played, what did I do? I built a game in neosVR…
Watched a lot of your vids on tic tok so decided to sub to your youtube

It’s a tough challenge but that could be cool!
Good video, it earned a sub from me but hour 6 said “hour 5”
Aha silly mistake but thank you so much :)
Bro I spent 9 hours straight in vrchat everyday and I wish I could spend more just bc my headset turn off, I think I should get a job
try to play for 48hs thats my record
straight btw
Did you sleep????
Bro how do you have only 700 subs im subbed my broski
I appreciate it!!
