If ever there was a family to be given the title of Honorary Cumbrians, it surely has to be the Piatak family. I llve the forward thinking they have, seemingly not just for my football club, but for the city itself. Having a house built, tells me they are in it for the long haul. COYB 💙💙

Sports franchise?
Carlisle utd is not a franchise it is a football club. There are no guarantees like there are with a franchise. You make an investment and hope not benefits the club and yourselves in future. The club comes first with a franchise profit comes first!! I do not like the use of the word franchise when talking football!!
And what would we have if they hadn’t invested in Carlisle Most sport are franchised based
Just relax, it’s just the terminology that’s used these days. I was brought up in Harraby, and used to go the Neil centre 40 years ago. It was abysmal then and I bet not much changed in the intervening years. Any changes can only be a positive as far as I’m concerned after years in the doldrums. The better the infrastructure the more enticing it will be to potential signings, as it can’t be easy attracting ambitious players to come to Carlisle. Good luck to them all.
