I'm in my 60's and have to get worked up for a 10 mile trail hike and then I watch this Foresty Forest kid hiking up multiple mountains in one day. It's inspiring as heck but at the same time it makes me feel like a fat old walrus sleeping on a rock.
I'm laid up in bed after an appendectomy. This new Foresty video was a balm to my soul. Do you know the British English term "knackered"? Fits our chap perfectly in this.
I've always heard bone tired, as in tired right down to your bones! Good thing about mr. crock pot, he'd have a meal ready to go right after the hike. But the ninja seems to cook fast once you get it going. i'm not sure this recipe would have worked in the crock pot.

For some reason I find the parts where he's sitting up at night to be really comfy. Like he's all snug and comfy inside the van, lights on, doing some cooking, curtains drawn; in his own little world. Love it.
I think that is the first time I have seen you get a glissade in, fun. It always shortens the time getting down off the mountain. Worst part of climbing on snow and forgetting your sunscreen is getting a sunburn under you nose from the reflection off the snow. Good day of climbing but I have never tried cooking a full meal afterwards. A truly dedicated TH-cam Creator.

You should pick up a 'Buff' to protect your face and neck from sunburn. Long hike but beautiful mountain scenery. Dinner looked great. I'll bet you slept good after all that.
That was one hell of a hike! In your shoes (who am I kidding?) I’d have made myself a cup of instant soup and a ham sandwich and fallen onto my bed fully clothed at the end of that day. The fact you pushed on to do some fancy baked meal is proof of something; either incredible mental strength or a kind of derangement. Not sure which, but you never cease to leave me gobsmacked! Hey Forrest! Your drone would do a killer ‘active tracking’ shot. Might save you a lot of energy on days where you are pushing it. Best channel on TH-cam!
Lake Louise is in a National Park, so no restrictions on drone flights there. As far as I'm aware of it's the Provincial Parks that have the no drone flight policy My guess is he wanted to keep the weight he was carrying to a minimum? I have no idea how much those drones and batteries weigh though.
