It’s mad I try and listen to Radio X and I just can’t laugh at any of it yet I watch these old clips and I’m in hysterics. I loved the whole team back then such a different energy and was real mood boost for me. I felt I was in their company. Won’t ever top this show.

Got to be honest,I prefer the stuff on X to this. Chris was so constrained in what he could do at Radio 1. X gives him way more freedom.
@@markc8956 maybe thats true to some extent, but the way society is nowadays, limits him far more than what radio 1 ever could in the 2000's
i think the difference is Chris himself mainly, Radio 1 was his first major slot on the biggest station in the country, he was excited, had confidence, his best mate Dave, and the team were fantastic, brilliant chemistry, like the grand tour team have. At radio X, i feel he's there to do a job, yes he still cares its a good show, but i feel that hunger to be the best has gone, which is only natural after so long in the game.

No its available in a range of coutries legally. They often mention viewers from Austrilia, America, Scandinavia. Thee BBC is available around the world

It's because it was only supposed to be available in the UK
But the pilot streaming vid is only available in the UK. The audio is worldwide.

Why wouldn't they be able to talk about international viewers? I'm guessing some licensing issue on things like commercials so they're not supposed to highlight the fact that international viewers can hear british commercials, or something like that.
+ I don't know why they can't mention it on the streaming though? It does seem strange as they have mentioned them in the past

because it's 'free' content - but it's being paid for by the tv license-payer in the UK. Or something equally as complicated.....
@lanerobertlane Bah, in that case they should have promoted it. Anything that pisses off Daily Mail readers is a good thing in my book.

Radio 1 is generally tripe these days. They had some iconic Dj's back then. Most mornings my mascara would run as I was applying it from laughing at this lot. It made getting ready for work fun 😔
Back in the days when we actually were able to go into work and people still had a sense of humour 😞
I think Greg James is good in his own way. Maybe not as hilarious as Chris Moyles though.
