One thing many people get use to it but not realized it is the powerful power generation capability, and because of this capability, it supports so many lights light up at night in many Chinese cities.

You probably missed the central outdoor area of the first shopping mall. The outdoor area of it has a wonderfull view. Also, there is a cool underground shopping mall which connected with the second mall you visited, with 1930 Shanghai theme decoration. The shopping mall is cool and thing are more affordable. There is another really highend luxury shopping mall called Taigu hui(can;t remember its English name), and there is another shopping center on the other side of the the first shopping mall you visit, that shopping mall is the first shopping mall of China. It opened in 1996 or something. In my early memory this area is covered with rice field in 1987, only the stadium was there in that time. And it turned into the CBD of the city.
My childhood friend retired and lives in walking distance from one of those malls in a 2nd tier city. The place has every thing a retiree needs except for health care. For about a thousand dollars a month, it’s about as comfortable as you can get in the world.
Every time when I heard in news that western politician or news commentator says: “I m really concerned about the human rights situation in China” I can’t stop laughing loudly .😂
I live in Shenzhen, a city next to Guangzhou. There are a lot of large shopping malls with various entertainment activities. Many people call Shenzhen the city of shopping malls.
