Nobody in the guitar playing business can play as fine as Paisley.
I don't care what genre. Quite simply, he's the best.

Really? Because he's not even the best guitar player on the stage in the video... emotionless speed shredding isn't as nice as the tasteful toneful stuff the other guy did.

Someone needs to tell that good fella in black shirt that rhythm guitar is half that volume. And even less when you are playing rhythm and Brad Paisley is soloing… lol

Comments about sound balance etc are absolutely right. I hear it now. Brad was blasted out. But no one can beat SRV

All this talk of turning down amps sometimes a person works a sound board and doesn't do a good job.

This is what it sounds like when you have a guy on stage playing guitar that has no sound control. I realize who it is that makes it worse, anyone who has had to play on stage with this can understand... lmao

The bass player is starting to feel the groove during Brad's second break on Pride & Joy.

I had forgotten how good SRV was until I heard Brad play Pride and Joy. don't get me wrong I admire Brad paisley but he is fighting out of his weight class on that song.

It’s rare for Paisley to sound as if he’s not playing with full conviction…he is the country version of SRV, which goes to show the best artists ‘can’ play other genres, but master one.
Wonder what SRV would sound like on an extended Mud on the Tires…ahhh.

its almost not fair for the older guy to be on stage next to brad....he sounds like an beginner

Guy on rhythm has no business on that stage... And needs to turn down, totally no dynamics....

They aren’t trying to do country. It’s a Dr Z Amplifier fest. It’s for showing off the amps and celebrating the company. The amps are suppose to shine here not the style of music.
