    I must've added a few hundred views to this video, myself; since I use it to warm up 3 times a day.
    Now, I do realize that this video is intended to show you HOW to do a quick warm-up on your own, it's not intended to be used for singing along with, since there are just a few reps of each example. But, in my life, I'm usually in a hurry, and this does the trick nicely, just singing along.
    I do it along with Freya, in chest voice, but an octave lower (since I'm a man) then do the whole thing again in unison, in head voice.
    I have a digital piano, so I suppose I could do it on my own, as she suggests; using my own instrument and choosing my own pitches. But there's something to be said for singing along with a human voice, rather than a cold, electronic, quickly decaying piano sound (at least with a real piano you feel the vibrations of the strings on the keys).
    I just find it much easier to harmonize and mimic along with Freya; so I do it this way, and it sure does the trick! (Her highest examples, are as high as I go, anyway.)

    I love your technique. This is great for singers who want to sing a variety of styles in a way that is safe and won't damage the voice.

    Hi Freya, I found this SO useful. I added it to the end of my warm ups, and altogether I have spent 30 minutes warming up. This is a great vid because of the many varied sounds in only a very short time. Many many thanks.

    Support, support support...we hear this all the time. PRECISELY what IS support? Is it the lungs full and expanded? Is that what is proving the "support" . Or is it the breath and HOW it comes out?

    • @wandanowicki2267
      @wandanowicki2267 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! I figured this out by watching your video on breath and support!! Thanks for the reply. Loved your lesson on mixed voice. That is the best explanation of how to access middle voice I have ever heard!

    I hear you say a lot, have good support. What exactly does that mean. I looked for a specific video but couldnt find one. Do you just mean proper breathing or are there a whole bunch of things?

    Are these exercises good for Indian singing, Indian music needs a very soft voice, not like western songs. Pl, advise.
