I like the use of Corrugated plate for the sides walls. They reduce the number of uprights to support them.

That feature that the gate doesn't need locks because of its weight and design is really clever . One less hydraulic circuit too . Will be good to see it behind the Mack .

Hey there Andy and Crew, I hope this finds you all well and good!
Nice looking trailer, and I'm sure you'll like it since you've been running 1 like it for 2-3 years?
Now you know this is in my wheelhouse Andy, so I have to make a few personal observations, not criticisms of you, the dealer, or the manufacturer, because if I don't, you'll know that someone has stolen my identity, plus I'm older than you are, and experience is one of the few things you gain with age, everything else other than nose, ear, and eyebrow hair becomes less with each passing year.
The first thing I noticed that I would change if I was signing the check (which I'm not) would be the option of Disk Brakes, which have many advantages, and no disadvantages, other than the initial cost, which has become so minimal, that many manufacturers have made them standard equipment.
The second and last, change would be all 8 aluminum wheels, not just the 4 outside ones, which is done for nothing more than asceticism, which is actually the least important reason for aluminum wheels, which save weight, and eliminates rust and most corrosion, including the bead, which will become a significant problem years down the road, and is always worse on the inside 4 than it is on the outside 4, why you may ask, it's simply because the outside rims get washed occasionally, and the inside never gets washed, and did I mention they are more aesthetically pleasing.
I hope y'all have a good one, and I'm impatiently waiting for a planter review, so I can make my report to Deere.

Now Andy, you and I both know that's very easily prevented, so you're gonna have to do better than that my friend.
According to ALCOA more than 70% of new Class 8 Tractors and Trailers leave the factory on Aluminum Wheels, this figure was for 2021 and you can bet it will increase substantially this year, due to much higher fuel prices.
I've heard all of the unsubstantiated excuses for not running Disk Brakes over the past 20-30 years, and finally all but the most ardent detractors have finally come around, so much so that Disk Brakes are now standard equipment for most manufacturers.

That's a nice trailer.
Not to be critical but I had a friend that was a logger hauling with an eighteen wheeler. He outfitted his trailer with wheels just like this one has, aluminium outside and steel inside. After a couple months hauling he noticed a broken wheel and about 6 weeks later another broken wheel. After the the first wheel break he started checking his torugue on the studs more often but continud to have problems. After the 4th broken wheel he changed all wheels to aluminium and it solved his problem. This was said just to give you a "heads up" of a possible future problem. Good luck, load it and go!
@George Jones Correct, but logging trucks and farm trucks operate on a lot of uneven ground causing individual wheels in a dual set to have excessive loads applied unlike operating on highways all the time.
We have broke both aluminum and steel wheels and have found that breakage comes from running empty running in rough roads

That trailer is an animal.. Parker hydraulic motors is all I know, they're excellent. Im impressed with that Hendrickson suspension too thats a nice setup. Is there a hydraulic valve or lockout so you could keep the tailgate up with the PTO off? Your Aulick cant hold a candle to these Mas trailers huh..
I work in the Aviation Field and Parker rules the roost when it comes to hydraulic components. Long time world leader.
No there isn’t a valve but one could be fitted. They make them simple so that’s about any truck with a hydraulic system can run them
I’ve got a 36ft MAS and I installed a valve on each side so that I can shut off the flow to the gate. Plumbed it in right next to the motors and works like a champ 👌
Get it rust proofed while new with the spray gun if you are buying it Andy !!!!

Sometime the field conditions make it difficult for a semi-tractor to provide the same tractive effort as the straight trucks given the additional weight of the loaded trailer, & the advantage of the aggressive flotation field tires fitted to the straight chassis 710/45 x22.5 Is this a fair statement?, since straight truck weight bears on the drive axles & a semi shares the weight w/ the drag of the trailer axles❓🍶Guess a semi can be fitted with big shoes also. But the semi needs to be available for other duty such as the low boy to move equipment❓
