I never thought to do partial armature. I have most of my full limb dolls with full body armature in them for posing. But when you have a jointed body it's closed off. This way you would still get some benefits of armature, great tutorial, I'm sure I will try this!!! Simone xo
Well, that was simple. Great for posing for pictures, and not using an entire full body armature makes the doll still cuddly, is that right? I’m a fan of armatures, I have full sets for several dolls, like the Sandie toddler, etc…but I like this sectional armature for the Bountiful Baby newborn Emmy 1/4 limb babies. Thank you so much for the tutorial, when I paint my Emmy’s, I will try this on one of them. I purchased the posable cuddle bodies, the ones with the folded joints at the elbow an knee, I’m hoping they will fit the bill as well. Hugs and happiness, Joy😊😊😊
The posable cuddle bodies are amazing! Yes, I prefer just single armatures rather than full, but for a doll like Sandie or any full limb baby, the full body ones are great! I purchased these single armatures from Chenza dolls. So reasonably priced and fast shipping!
