Exactly.....Midfeild. The only space game where you have to install mods to make it playable and add exploration and adventure to the bland emptiness that it is. Just remember to remove the horrendous blue grey filter which should never have been.
over the years ive learned ( well we all did to some degree or more ) that space games in overall are a really niche genre that is really hard to get a grand number of actually staying community because a huge portion of players needs many different gameplay and engaging features to keep them hooked on the game .... and after alot of flops over said years ive yet to see 1 game that has actually pulled it off .... ideas keep coming nonetheless and itl be nice to see what game keeps that huge portion of players for more than a few months :) happy holidays everybody!!!!
indeed, for every good new idea it seems 2 old mistakes are copied from the past, and thus we keep ending up with something that never truly shines, were still waiting for our Baldur's Gate 3 space game that just knocks it out of the park!
this is one of my concerns as well, the ending of ME after every choice we made came down to colour of explosion, hopefully they avoid this sort of bad writing!
yeah im awaiting this one with baited breath, because it could all be canned any second. its Schrodinger's game, its both dead and chart topping at the same time lol We will have to wait and see!
I'm gonna have to wait until release and see what people say. Only because its under WoTC, a company I do not trust not screw up things under their umbrella.
