I want to go see them in Jan 2024 but I live in Texas and it's not gonna happen. I am so bummed. Saw them at the Whiskey a few years ago- they didn't allow cameras so thanks for this video I will cherish it forever.

In Austin Texas where I am from and currently living after returning back from living in California for 19 years we have Roky Erickson and The Bubble Puppy who were our local legends. I couldn’t just stand there the entire time to record. Has to stop and listen and enjoy it too. What I recommend is to go see them at the Whiskey a go go in West Hollywood. They play every year
Did one guitarist use a pedal for the sitar effect? If so it was very convincing. Those times wanted to be righteous but the conflict seeking plutocrats had other ideas.
Pure crap set from overaged 60's hippies with few original band members here who had 1 hit at that, and took too many bong hits. Might as well watch Buffalo Springfield and Lovin Spoonful tribute band videos..Robert at 69 in Arizona.
Well actually they are all original except one. Ed king left to join Lynard Skynard Howie is great, so wrong…they are one of the bands with almost entirely all original members still with over half a century of jamming! Annnnd I actually really love their music, their chemistry, and catch them on a good night, they have liquid light shows. Go see them live and then we can talk.

I’m going to see them in January as well as canned heat, love, chocolate watchband, and Robby Kruiger form the doors all at the whiskey.
