Who cares about tall people? Tall people have far more access to bikes across the entire Adventure/Touring motorcycle spectrum already. By the way, removing the exhausts on these bikes cuts almost another 3kg, so that adds up. They just need to add spoked tires and a beefier suspension and it’ll make a killer pound-for-pound off-roader.
I agrre with you on the 3kg...Honda is bad about emphasizing meaningless changes. I do like the color options much better than the Green we currently get in the US.
So, if was NX500 was supposed to be a capable off-road Adventure bike seeing how Honda fluffed that up it's up to the owner to make it suck a bike? Honda has let us down in a way. Not what the NX500 was suppose to be.
The golden spot is the new Transalp. Not too small (NX500), not too big (Africa Twin). By the way, I dont get why Honda made the new AT more road biased and now is in confrontation with NT1100.

I did not say they are bad or inferior, go and check on wikipedia there is a chart of average height of height of each country and you will see that most bikes are made for shorter people because most people are tiny. I’ve got a 2020 CB500x The ‘new’ NX500 has the same engine. It does not need traction control ! The NX is butt ugly as well.

Who cares about short people? Tbh it's easier the reduce the height of a Cb500x than increase the height
