mam for the thickness in bearing... t= sum of the least thickness of main plate+ thickness of cover plate right? but why have you taken only 8mm instead of 8+10= 18mm?
Mam ❤️ 😊 I need your help mam lockdown ki bjh se koi book nahi mil rhi h I am diploma student .....so mara pass koi book bi nhi h ......hm kya kra mam ...😭
Tab to aap lectures follow kijiye... Aapka maximum syllabus cover hona chaiye in lectures se. Mujhe lagta nhi LSM ki koi bhi book Hindi me hai available...
Yes drawing of the complete joint is considered as a step in design calculations. It should be drawn at the end of the question indicating all the calculated bolts/ weld lengths and arrangements
In the question you can write that you've assumed chain bolting with "n" no of bolts and draw a rough diagram. The probability of such questions is very less as force is an important part of the question

No it’s the sum of the cover plates or the minimum thickness of the main plates

You should search online if the PDF of the book is available. Else you can order using amazon or flipkart.
You can buy Limit state design by SK Duggal or Limit State Design by S Bhavikatti.

Thank u v. much Ma'am!
You're welcome 😊
Ma'am, Are drawing of designed joint & strength of the joint necessary for a design problem?
Yes drawing of the complete joint is considered as a step in design calculations. It should be drawn at the end of the question indicating all the calculated bolts/ weld lengths and arrangements
@@civilengg.withakriti2556 Ma'am,how can I draw the diagram in a question of asking strength of bolt where force is not given in the question?
In such cases you can skip the diagram or represent the force using a F or P in the diagram because some force will definitely be acting on the joint
@@civilengg.withakriti2556 But how can I evaluate no of bolts required where force is not given in the question?
In the question you can write that you've assumed chain bolting with "n" no of bolts and draw a rough diagram.
The probability of such questions is very less as force is an important part of the question
Mam double cover butt joint waali vedio nhi mil ri
mam last m jab ap nee bolt arrange keye hai to right or left dono side six six bolt lani thi ap nee three three ku lage hai
There should be 6 bolts on each plate. Therefore, we provide chain bolting with 6 bolts on each plate thus, 12 bolts in total
Mam yha appna V ko Vsb q likha hm V bi to only lik sakta h 🤔
I am wrong / right
