@@creativecookbook You'll need all FO characters for SLKR. You can farm all 4 at the same time. If you have maxed KRU and kylo then farming FO executioner will be good. You'll get FO Officer from cantina, you can farm him after chopper. Plasma you can farm after zeb. FO SF tie fighter is from guild store so farm him whenever he's available. FO Tie pilot farm him daily when you 3-star his hard node.
PLEASE NOTE: In the Galactic War Store, if you buy the ships over the characters you will receive more Tokens for the Shard Shop!!
Same goes for the Cantina Battles store... Cassian's U-Wing is a steal because it is the only Ship that gives you 5 shards for the SAME token price

@@AhnaldT101 Got a tip that might help new players aswell. To get zetas you obviously need 5 star ships, but if you only farm the ships you recommend its going to take a while like tie advanced. So I would suggest just picking op the empire Tie fighter, can be aquired through galaxtic war and fleetstore. got it to 5 star in about 4 days. The zeta challenge is not difficult so you only need to meat the requirements you dont need to gear him up. Had almost 2 zetas ready to go and apply the moment I hit lv 82.

@UCAkaEUZMz7LkWnbD5kHDXoQ Thanks that does help a lot I've been fighting geo fleets wrong the whole time😅 I would try kill spy while out of stealth because I thought he was the main threat and I normally get destroyed by geo fleets so I'll use the advice general.

I use tarkin, tie silencer, First order SF tie pilot, First order tie fighter, Kylo command shuttle, slave 1. Most of my fleetshard is filled with seperatist.
The strategie is as follows: First use tie silencer to stun Geo soldier, Then use First Order SF tie fighter special on GEO spy and make tie silencer assist (this will make sure the spy gets ability blocked or stunned) Continue focusing on geo soldier. Then after the capital ships have done their turn make sure Geo soldier dies and start hitting GEO spy whenever you can. Then call in Kylo command or slave 1 depending on situation, For example if you couldnt kill of geo soldier you want someone to take the fire away from you primary ships, so call in slave 1 for taunt (preferably houndstooth but mine sucks so).
Got to top 5 for quit some time until it became filled with Hux's ship.

I'm a real world military tactician and I love this game and Ahnald is a great player and entertainer. I give every video thumbs up. Regular Joe player, lower your expectations. He started in a guild waaaay above what you can expect. You're not going to get all of the top gear he gets from a guild of that level. Ahnald is a seasoned veteran and knows exactly what does what. I advise you to take his advice most of the time. However you're not getting gear 12 rewards unless you're in an elite alliance for your level. You're not going to do ANY damage to raids; if you find an alliance that allows you to stay you're lucky. Subscribe, hit the like button, get notifications, and donate as he will help you GREATLY along your journey to become a good SWGOH player but you need to find a guild who will accept you and accept that you won't contribute much for a long time. Long Live the EMPIRE!!!!!!
I disagree with that. His guild is 63M, not a top tier guild. At 700k, he is probably not at the bottom of his guild. 50 players with his inventory could take out PIT and Haat. The only real carry would be for the hsr. But one person with SLKR can carry the whole guild.

Another pro-tip is that 4 ship shards gives you 2 more shard store credits than 10 character shards but for the same price. Its a small bonus but it adds up

Three months in and this video is extremely helpful to see what my progress should/could look like continuing down the SLKR path. Need to rewatch the mod farming video and find this relic farming video, to start looking at what I need to focus in when I hit 85 in the next 5 weeks.

Getting in a good guild is so important for getting g13s! It's how I've gotten 8 gear 13's and I'm only 1.6mil GP. About to get GAS soon :)
what all raids is your guild doing? and what TB?
@@joshlloyd6645 I joined my current one a few months ago. We do all heroic raids, and have the pit raid and HAAT raid on sim. No CRancor though. We get 19/10 in Geo TB.
Before I joined this guild, my guild for around 6 months (first good guild) was still doing all heroic raids, but with 9/4 stars in Geo TB.

I clicked on this video after having a couple G13 character already, but this is helpful just in case I was not doing it as efficiently as possible, the gear grind is tough, especially for me because im going for SEE. Nice video Ahnald keep up the great work!
WHOA! I never knew that trick that was shown at around 11:25. Insanely awesome!
There are similar tricks for other relic mats you can uncover. Just follow Ahnald’s method by selecting different gear and checking which characters need them, and how much extra you can get for fully crafted pieces vs individual pieces. Also, some nodes are much more beneficial to farm than others. 1D LS normal, for example, is an excellent source for carbonite circuit boards.
Your videos helped my new f2p account get ahead of my old account in half the time. I'm not upgrading all the bad characters and learned to focus my gear, credits, and crystals. Thank you grand admiral

I appreciate the information in this video. As a long time free to play player, some of the information on getting to G13 never seemed to quite filter to me. I got stuck in a path of getting teams to gear 12, but never quite reaching for that 13. Now I believe I have the information I need to start turning some of those 12's up into the relic levels. A few days ago, i just realized that in the Sith triumvirate, if you get in to the top 10 you'll get a lot more gear than the rest of them, even gear 12 and 12+ fully crafted.
That just blow my mind.
I can easily get number 1 in sith triumvirate using imperial troopers in phase 3
I liked this guide milestone - I like how you emphasized the shard shop store. For some reason too many people brag on Reddit about how they've never opened their bronzium packs and ignore the shard store, and I'm like "Wuuuuut?!? How can one afford to ignore that store in this day and age?" The only thing I would slightly amend to your advice is that you talked about not 7 starring characters. I would slightly adjust that to say that it IS worth it to 7 star characters that you typically get from random Bronzium packs and Galactic War sims (and nowadays I suppose you have to include G. Challenges in that). The shard shop income increase over the long run is worth the temporary credit loss IMO.
I see your point. It would have been very difficult for me not to 7* those characters back when I started 5.5 years ago, but that was a completely different game. Ahnald is so laser focused that any unnecessary expenditure of credits will delay his progress toward SLKR. It takes a ton of credits for every character. How many days would each 7* set him back? A week? I’d only do it if I hit the jackpot with a 10M credit heist pull (which I’ve never had in 5.5 years). I am eagerly waiting to see him get SLKR within the first year and prove all the naysayers wrong so I want him to keep coupon cutting.
My biggest question is how high he climbs in squad arena. I was relatively f2p in my first six months, and I was definitely top 50, even top 20 some times with a random assortment of characters that had minimal synergy (compared to today). I’d spend 50c refreshing to get an additional 50c. I’m curious to see what the top 50 in his squa d shard looks like, and what kind of movement he sees (are the same players in top 50 all day?). If I noticed that position 40-50 changed a lot, for example, I’d try to sneak my way up there, strategically picking my battles. With a relic 5 KRU and soon to be g13 Hux, I would think he could figure out a good roadmap if it were possible.

Started back in late November, and thanks to our grand admiral’s farming guide I’m about to g13 my 3rd character, and I just unlocked Padme yesterday with Jedi Knight Revan on the way.

Thanks for this video! I always watch your tips, even though most of the time these are things I've figured out. On my alt account I'm working on getting variety of characters geared enough for ships and Journey Characters, so farming relic materials is going to take a while. I did find this video super helpful though. I've probably been farming too many characters, which is why getting to even Gear 11 has been a massive grind. That's also a nifty trick about actually constructing the parts instead of salvaging the individual components. Thanks again!

Ahnald, by activating some of the prestigious quests (specifically the Han Solo one) you can get G12+ pieces to help with your farms. For example, by completing the Han Solo one, you can basically have the gear for one of those Hux pieces.
As a brand new F2P player in 2022 I really appreciate these guides.
I invested too much in jedi consular because I did not know if he would be a good late game character or not. These guides do help guide new players like myself.

I HAVE been farming ships for a long af time, especially the Hound's Tooth, but it feels really easy to get demotivated after spending *tons* of energy on the farm nodes only to *barely drop any.*

I am a veteran player, only in amount of time played. I have been playing for around 4 or maybe 4.5 years, but don't even have a single relic yet. That's because I never stuck to one character, and always focused on random characters. (My first Zeta was literally Ahsoka Tano Fulcrum, because she was my favorite character). That resulted in a GP bloated roster. Thanks a lot Ahnald, I've been able to get back on track thanks to watching your videos!
I started an alt F2P account shortly after you did but went primarily down the KotOR path. I only have two g12 toons, but I have both Revans, Thrawn, Palp, Vader, Yoda. Currently fleshing out Sith Empire then it's on to Malak then SEE. It's been interesting comparing the progress between your alt and my own. I would say going for the Revans immediately have the advantage early, but with how OP the GLs are, SLKR will have a huge payoff when you unlock him.

For the 5-E fleet battle, try to make your hounds tooth bigger, call him as a 1st reinforcement in the battle so he can counter, and pray tarkin's ultimate won't kill more than 2 people on your team (for 3 stars)
AhnaldT I started the game again like 2 weeks ago I used stormtrooper han, Leia,Lando,farm like and old Ben cuz I didn't know about your guide but now I'm using your guide to get better
I was grinding for 5 months to get to level 85. Within 3 weeks using this guide, I got all my Phoenix squadron up to tier twelve and Hera Syndulla almost at gear 13 (two more slots). Fleet battles are so annoying also. Using Iden Versio's Tie defender has helped a lot with the over powered shots and the unevadable stunning.
I’ve been playing for about 3 to 4 months now and I am at level 75 or 76 I believe and man it’s starting to get grindy I do wish I would have found your channel out sooner 😂😂
I have been following the FTP farm from last year, just Reliced Jedi Knight Revan, a little side track from Sith Eternal Palpatine. Currently I'm almost halfway done with the perquisites, now I just have to keep from banging my head against the wall farming Xanadu and Hounds Tooth, the struggle is real.
Every day I hope they make ships accelerated.. I could finish so many things if my ships didn't take a year to 7* (not a literal year but it feels like it)

Back when I was levelling up my strategy ended up being building up teams for the assault events etc. so that I could faster and more efficiently farm those events in the long run,but that was back in 2018. And not regretting it. Ship farm ended up being really important for me, a free crystals when in the top 50 + free zetas monday thursday and sunday from the ship challenge. But many roads lead to Rome as long as its a fun trip its ok :)
I started a f2p account for about 8 month ago and i unlocked jedi knight revan today! I am trying to keep a balance between my light side and dark side teams:)
I found it helpful to get one toon to relics, one to g12 and farm the rest to g12. That reduces the situations where several toons need the same gear at the same time.
Never thought of using the other currencies to get shard shop currency. This will super boost my efforts!

I just finished my first GA series, got rank 300 in KYBER. Thanks for the help, I just started farming first order because I started at level 45 because I started earlier, but got bored. I have 3 g12s, JKR, Jolee, and Yoda. My GP is 550k

I started in January with little to no knowledge of the game other than being a former msf player. And while I haven't gone down the slkr path i still find the tips and strategies of your vids to be very informative. New players should all be encouraged to do their own research, and use these guides as a baseline. I want to play swgoh myself, not let you play it for me. With that said, it's fun to see how my roster compares, and to see ideas from other players at my level. Keep up the great content!

These videos have helped me even though i’m a midgame player with 3.3m gp. I have 7/13 for SLKR but all of the characters i’m missing are already g12 I just need ships. The ships for finalizer is a killer farm, they need to double drop ships
Hey Ahnald! I just want to ask a question-does a "toppled" raid boss count as a "stunned" enemy? (For example, if I want to siphon more mastery by SLKR)
I started playing again about a month ago almost, and the game has changed A LOT since I stopped playing due to the predatory nature of the game's microtransactions. It's changed SO much since I was playing 5 years ago. It's still a very predatory microtransaction system, but it's a lot more forgiving for the F2P scene. Thanks to these videos I've learned a bit, though I've only been following the advice begrudgingly cause I'm getting tired of sitting there while my opponent takes 5 turns on each character while I'm lucky to even get one turn on one character lol.

Im glading I'm farming correctly. I'm new and currently level 78. I farm like this and only focusing on character or two and ships and leftovers for gear. I have a decent fleet as I've combined what I farmed for commanders and ships together to get more benefits off of the builds
I got my first G13 character on my new f2p account about a week ago: Darth Vader! I instantly took him to relic 5 of course (I would have done relic 7 but I haven’t unlocked enough fleet battles to reliably farm some G12 gear that you can trade for Zinbiddle cards and Electrium Conductors). I have a 6-star Dark Trooper and my main team is Imperial Troopers, so I think he’ll be my next relic.

Hey Anhald, thank you for this instructive and wise video. Just a question : will you refresh your F2P guide with the news characters (especially the Bad Batch), or even refresh your document with their zeta abilities ?
Usually I update the “big” farming guide once a year to wait and see what comes. Right now Bad Batch isn’t anywhere in the plans yet as there is no legendary character they lead up to (although they are a great team!) We will see though!
That piece you're spending GET1 on shows up as one of the cheaper pieces in the shard shop. Takes a little while because of the RNG, but worth it to save more precious currency. Can do two 25 crystal refreshes on that store too.
I am following your farming path, but at the same time getting other stuff, so basically it will take longer to get slkr, but in the meantime I'm getting some other good teams like CLS, JKR etc...and your approach is better in game modes in which you need just a single team ( squad arena, fllet arena, gw, cantina normal and mod battles) but I'm benefiting form having multiple good teams in game modes like gac or tb/tw to help the guild.
Just used ur discord to get into a good guild it’s really helped me a lot
another thing to spend squad arena currency on is Prestige for capital ships, getting those abilities up can help a lot for fleet battles/arena
For fleet battle 5-e, a really easy way to beat it is put hounds tooth in reinforcements for executrix so that he gets the retribution. The tie fighters can’t do enough damage to get past the bonus prot and destroy themselves. Hope that helps grand admiral. LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE!!!!

Not every gear need to be crafted, there're some guides out there on what to convert and should you craft it or not

I am a somewhat new player, and when I started out, I got recommended watching you, as you were a true expert in the field, and I have enjoyed the game ever since. So naturally I just blindly followed your guide, until I started seeing a lot of reddit threads, talking about how it was more important to branch out your team, rather than just rushing SLKR. So right now, I am at somewhat of a crossroads, as I started out with going for Phoenix-Empire unlock-FO, but now I have started gearing up the Empire team, with Palp, Vader, Tarkin, Thrawn and Gideon, and it is a lot of fun with MM, but I simply don't know where to go from here. Do I return to the FO? Do I relic/or at least G12 my empire team, and then move on to gear up another roster? I am at a loss, and would greatly appreciate any advice from you, or anyone else. Good day to whomever may have read this, and it's great to be in the Empire today!

Just got even more motivated to get my first GL
I started 2 weeks before the double shards. I'm going SLKR first and my side farm is GAS. As of today I have Kru r5 sith trooper r5 and hux, kylo, stormtrooper, officer, and both pilots gear 12. Phasma ,veteran, and palp gear 9. Almost have all my ships finished except 7 star xanada, tie advanced and command shuttle to get finalizer. Got my geos to gear 8, unlocked padme. Now going for asajj and separatist droids. I saved over 70k of the currency for GAS in the shop to get it 7 stars and saving up for hermit next. That's my progress so far, I can drop my ally code if anyone wants to compare. All F2P

Sounds like you need to start watching Ahnlads videos. Thanks to him I can gear 11 my vader with only playing for the last 4 months

Exactly I've been playing for 3+ years and this man has done more progress than I ever done like he already has gear 13 characters while I just unlocked my General Kenobi and Jedi Knight Revan like bruh and my Darth Vader is gear 11 with 1 zeta but still nothing much compared to what Arnald has progressed

I’ve been doing the shard shop wrong. I’ve been farming characters I didn’t need like stormtrooper Han in cantina store. I’m still to early to do it with galactic war. Thanks Ahnald
Fun fact: 4 to 5 ship shards give more shard shop currency than 10 character shards
So if you have the option in catina/gw, get the ship shards
That is an important tip that most new players probably don’t know. Ahnald mentioned it in a stream, but you are right, he should have put it in this video, too.
