I’m glad that cg is making new teams without destroying the old teams. Leia not synergizing with scoundrel rebels and now this is a step in the right direction to keep things balanced and fair I think.
Yeah, I am always a fan of using old, outdated characters and turning them into a useable team. Curious what this team will look like. Spirit and Acolyte were annoying with Talzin once upon a time. I imagine they will be solid here. Just gotta get the new Great Mother lead to see the full picture!

Han and chewie work just fine with Leia. Only characters that don't really work are Lukes
I love the idea that she’s not only there for rounding up old and unused Nightsisters after the advent of Merrin, but she’s also required for Baylon. I also love that they may be leaning into the stealth cheese from way back when that was annoying with the bow Nightsister.
I’m of the belief that Baylon is going to round up DS UFU under him (Shin Hati, Malicos, and the two unused Inquis not with Reva), while GL Ahsoka uses LS UFU (Baby Cal, Cere, FAhsoka, and the coming Hermit Ezra)
I know it has been awhile but there was a time when Acolyte and Spirit were super frustrating. Seeing them recall that and lean into it makes me believe this team has potential. I am really curious how Baylan is going to work though. Malicos seems the most likely candidate but they could do something to prevent that from happening.
Love that idea about the teams however this idea would leave the new imperial remnant squad without a 5th member until maybe thrawn comes or dark trooper is placed there because veers is dead

I also totally forgot that Initiate also exists. guess 1 of them is going to be left behind
It’s definitely nice to see old tags not be omitted from newer kits. It’ll be nice to have her help out some of the NS that have been left behind
Her fighting style is really aggressive but story-wise she was left as a barricade between Ahsoka and Thrawn/The Mothers. Her being a tank makes sense.

This is one of my favorite trends we’re leaning more into seeing. Factions with leftovers that have been phased out due to other additions made being able to live again (I’m not trying to make a joke about Nightsisters and reviving the dead here, totally not) with new teams in these factions. It’s like Zorii with the Resistance, and Iden with troopers.
Of course we’ll have to wait for the Great Mothers to arrive, but I’m still interested in seeing what all there is to Morgan as I feel like she’s an underrated character that’s been introduced (I actually liked her story more in Tales of the Empire compared to Barriss’) in recent canon. I feel like a huge part of that is due to Diana Lee Inosanto’s amazing acting talent but regardless, I’m a sucker for the Nightsister elements as they really push the sci-fi/fantasy aspect of Star Wars to the limit.

Zombie revive can't be prevented, so if you don't use her with Talzin you can use her with Morgan.

@@gabrielcomeau3518as clauses go, "cannot be prevented" has highest priority. Zombie revives against GAS Lead, SLKR unique, and mando/Nihilus specials. Even the instant defeat effects in galactic challenges and conquest that delete GLs can't stop her from coming back.

I’m predicting that talzin won’t scoop up Morgan, but the great mothers will scoop up parts of talzin’s team to make the super sister team.
Great mothers lead, Morgan, asajj, merrin, and a 5th. With Morgan’s unique and asajj’s omi, it’ll be like 3 leads on top of merrin’s plague and protection recover. Maybe have talzin be the fifth for more plague and mass assist.
Why would you use Asajj or Merrin with Morgan? She specifically prevents her allies from ANY revives. That would make Asajj's abilities much weaker, and limit Merrin as well.
No, Morgan will obviously be used with new and unused Nightsisters, NOT the current NS team.
@@JadusMoltriel the revive aspects of asajj’s and merrin’s kits are only a fraction of their power. The still will add a good deal of power a Morgan team.
Merrin will still offer great protection recovery, a mass cleanse, and lots of plague.
While asajj will still offer mass buff dispel, increased stats for the team, stuns, protection recovery, tm, and healing immunity.
Just to name the hot ticket items of their kits. You just gotta ask yourself, would you rather use a special from spirit and acolyte, or merrin and asajj? Same goes for the uniques.
I wonder if Baylan Skoll is going to be a light side character, a dark side character, or a neutral character. I feel that neutral characters are surprisingly absent from the game. We only got Hondo

Ahnald, Talia is on the login calendar. Of course her cleanse will be a part of the new NS team.
I do like the idea of using Talia in a Morgan team. She loses health on her cleanse, which can possibly trigger some of Morgan's unique, like stealth and Forsight. And, with all the health & protection recovery with Morgan, it could turn out to be a banner recovery team.

Talia's aoe dispell, Ventress heal and aoe dispell buffs, with Morgan Elzbeth and spirt and acolyte, I think will be viable at the beginning

You could still throw zombie if you needed to and have it revive as well. Remember Zombie has that revive can't be prevented clause. It won't do the die for you thing I think? But is still a technical option if it is the best hard to say without testing.

that acolyte nightsister was actually a pretty good in the early days using nightsisters using a ventress lead as I didn't have talzen unlocked.

I suspect that is the next character reveal in about 2 weeks or so!
If I had to guess I’d say New Death replaces Current Death on the Remnant team, pushing Current Death to Iden Troopers
Then New Thrawn takes the lead slot on the Remnant team, demoting DTMG to just being a member instead. Though the addition of New Thrawn would probably make Veers Troopers the permanent home for MG given he has more value there. That is if Night stays with Remnants
If these changes do occur I could see the team looking something like this: New Thrawn (L), DTMG, New Death, Scout, and Night

@@muniqui19 It's the Galactic Legend "Skywalker triangle" it's in his 2024 f2p progression guide, basically saying to go for GL Jabba, then JML, then Leia as your first GL's as they have so manyy overlapping requirements

It's a interesting idea to make a team that is the opposite of normal nightsisters, I also believe that night trooper will be on the nightsister side of things, with the great mothers and the acolyte and spirit, we have a whole team

Depending on the Great Mother kit, this team could possibly be our new Queenie counter with all that buff dispel and immunity given that teams massive buff generation.

I think Morgan Elsbeth should have been like the Mandalorian tv series. I would have liked to see her with used beskar spear.
Interestingly, I believe that Nightsister Zombie would still be able to revive herself on the new team with Morgan Elsbeth.
The Nightsister Zombie’s revive on herself is unpreventable which should bypass Morgan’s revive prevention on allies. Zombie just wouldn’t be able to save her other allies with Undying Sacrifice.
I don’t know if this will come into play in the future team but it could be interesting to test out once the Great Mothers come out.

I'm really excited for these Baylon requirement characters. For once I have teams that'll work with the new character and I don't mind working on for the new event. I'm thinking we'll see Shin next and possibly Marrok. Curious if Marrok does come to the game, will he have inquisitor synergy, as well as nightsister, or purely be a part of the new "Mercenary" tag coming soon.
also the day they add a debuff theoretically called nightsister influence (where the the target hero/villain becomes stun locked for 4 turns but also immortal temporarily, basically you cannot target them but they cannot take functional turns then loses half their health and protection with perma heath immunity (until end of encounter) so they can’t heal) WILL BE, THE DAY OF RECKONING!! ALL FOR THE EMPIRE!!!

I like they idea of bringing up old toons to be useful like this but it seems like cg is picking our teams nowadays and making it too restrictive to really play around with teams like queen amidala, obi young and qui gon all being linked together

Not every team should be able to do it, it’s not a bad idea either because they could pump out teams like that with not as big characters

their release schedule of theses marquee characters makes it hard to predict which will come 1st Ahsoka or Baylon, cause they did a Ahsoka req 1st then instead of following it up with another they then did a baylon req, im just hoping baylon only has 4-5 Reqs cause having to do more then that at R7 is not guna be fun if Ahsoka comes out ether not to far before him or after and she then has a lot of high reqs as well

I'm leaning towards Ahsoka in September, because she was fully officially announced first. Then maybe Baylan in October or November.

I wonder if the last paragraph will negate the nightsister zombie special.
So, someone can correct me if I'm wrong. But, from what I can see, the current team for this is Asajj lead, Morgan, Spirit, Acolyte, and Talia. Technically, you could use Talia lead and add Initiate or NT, but I struggle to see viability there. It'll be interesting to see if the Asajj lead team warrants replacing Asajj in the Talzin team, and who said replacement would be.
Is it not possible to use Zombie instead of Talia to push Talia over to Talzin? Also I think Asajj goes with Talzin too

@@catalyst539 Morgan doesn't have a lead. Great Mother will be the lead, but she's obviously not out yet. So, for now, the team needs a lead. The theory crafting is around what that team will look like until GM. Without even giving them Talia or Asajj, that team isn't going to do anything.

If you use asajj lead in GAC with Morgan and night trooper you’ve got 3 GAC omis lol just not a great lead unfortunately. I wonder if zombie can work in this team? Her revive can’t be prevented so it might be nice having another tank and zombie honestly is not needed for merrin and talzins team

In this game I have a good idea that the game can put for new characters like crosshair the clones CX assasin in the series Bad batch, yularen, dedra mero, dryden voss, tobias beckett, axes woves, Gar saxon clone wars, rook kast, rahm kota, juno eclipse, proxy, bail organa, maris brood, fourth sister,
They should also make a system like in the Marvel Strike Force game, a mode where they can put on costumes to change the appearance of each character.

They absolutely shouldn’t. MSF fails in every department with that system. Besides, how would this work in SWGoH if there are multiple units of the same character? Exactly.

Each unit in SWGoH is taken from a certain time period that they were in. Hence why there are 5 Han Solos and 5 Chewbaccas. They are all taken from different points in time. This is the formula that the devs have used for a long time now, I don’t imagine it changing anytime soon.
Unless they really de-synergize Great Mothers from Talzin/Merrin idk how they'll justify 2 teams over 1 super team
The anti-revive baked into Morgan's kit I think almost guarantees not to use her with Talzin. Talzin relies on revives and Morgan shuts that down. Time will tell though.

Is Baylan and Morgan gonna be the Asoka gl? I imagine so...
You mean required for GL Ahsoka? Does not seem so. Only 4 dark side units for Ahsoka and they basically confirmed what they are. Asajj, Enoch, Death Trooper Peridea, and Night Trooper. My guess is Baylan will be required for a possible GL Thrawn though.

Acolyte had a period of annoyance where if you did not have an AOE you could get stuck behind Zombie + Acolyte cheese. But Spirit was always better than Acolyte.
