Hello, I’m Joe - I’m a guitar player, singer-songwriter, producer, recording engineer and teacher!
On this channel you’ll find my original songs, covers and solo fingerstyle guitar arrangements. My favorite music doesn’t fit neatly in a box so you may hear me play folk, blues, jazz, & classic rock - you can call it what you want; I feel honored to speak this timeless language of melody, harmony & rhythm.
I was born on May 25th 1991 in Kempsey, NSW, Australia. Since 2010 I have been based in the US and currently live in the Rocky Mountains of Montana with my wife, Genevieve (who teaches illustration on TH-cam!).
I play Maton acoustic guitars, made in Australia (just like me) and am very proud to have my own signature instrument, the JR Signature!
In addition to song performances, you will also find guitar lessons, chord breakdowns, TAB, tutorials, gear reviews and other guitarist related content to help you stay inspired on the instrument.
I stream high quality livestream concerts regularly, if you’d like to be notified when I announce a livestream, you can put your email in here: joes.lnk.to/Li...
Please subscribe and ring the bell etc. 🔔
    Cheers!
    Joe

Joe, I think you being close with him, and never pestering him to build you an amp, probably meant more to Alexander than you could imagine.
People who have sought after gifts like that rarely get to experience a pure friendship.

What a great tribute. I've been fortunate to play three different Dumble amps, all of them spectacular. A friend loaned me his Dumble 50 Watt ODS and his Two Rock Mayer Sig and I was in heaven for 6 months. Then, they were gone.

This is a lovely video! Thank you Joe.
It’s so funny you bring up your conversations about Bone Broth, Kimchi, and probiotics to stay healthy. It might not seem like much but for a guy who’s legend loomed large in the guitar world it’s a very human thing that shows who he was not as the amp builder but as the man.
    Cheers

Thanks Joe for the story! I think I first met you thru Robert Knight. I also think that Super Reverb you played thru at Alexander’s was being built for my friend Mark, for pedal steel. The time line seems about right. I totally understand your loss, he was one of my best friends over the years, and I’m going to miss the part he played in my everyday life! I know he’ll be a part of our memory snd hearts for the rest of our life.

Sorry to hear of his passing. I believe he was somewhat of a genius in the guitar amp field along with the likes of Leo Fender and Randall Smith.
I can honestly say that the sound that Larry Carlton and Robben Ford get out of their Dumbles is the only overdriven sound that is musical to my ears.

It’s hard losing friends, even the ones you didn’t know all too well. take an amp outside, place it on its back, crank it to 11, and play him a tune.

Great loss.. I have an Ultra phonix Bassman its a great amp. Im located in Texas and the amp is for sale.
It sustains on the clean side and the lead side levels every plexi marshall I ever owned including Ejs.
The amp sounds like Ej as it sits straight in... It should belong to Eric Johnson and all I want is a house to live in for it.......take care of one another a change is gonna come...
