Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde pays his final respect to HRM Oba Àkànmú Adétúnjí Olúbàdàn of Ìbàdàn

The final burial rites for our royal father, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Sálíù Àkànmú Ọlásùpò Adétúnjí, Ajé Ògúngúnnísò 1, Olúbàdàn of Ìbàdàn. Kabiyesi lived a good life and left a worthy legacy and so we are glad we have been able to pay our last respects.
The Governor Of Oyo State stated that he was happy that the issues surrounding the succession to the Olubadan stool have been resolved. The system was never broken and did not need to be fixed. He said by God’s grace, he would make the official announcement of the new Olubadan of Ibadanland on Monday.
