    The NFL Draft frenzy has settled, and Lance and Pat are here to break down all the action, grade the Bears' picks, and assess how the division fared. 📋🔍
    Kicking off with Day 1 of the draft, where the Bears snagged Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze, Lance and Pat are all smiles, grading the first round with an easy A. 🌟 They dive into the potential of these two stellar picks and what they bring to the team's future.
    Next, the spotlight shifts to the Yale Tackle selected by the Bears, a developmental prospect with promising potential. Lance and Pat discuss the value of the pick and its impact on the team's offensive line.
    But Day 3 of the draft wasn't without controversy - the Bears' selection of Punter Tory Taylor sparked debate. Lance questions the timing of the pick, while Pat sees the potential in Taylor's unique talent. 🏈💨
    The excitement continues as they analyze the Bears' trade to draft pass rusher Austin Booker, with Pat enthusiastic about his potential impact on the team. Lance and Pat then hand out their overall draft grades for Ryan Poles.
    Turning their attention to the NFC North, Lance and Pat dissect the draft performances of division rivals. From Green Bay's defensive stock-up to the Lions' strategic roster fill, they leave no stone unturned. The problem with ex-Pro’s like Briggs is that they really don’t do research. They hear a bout a dude and give their professional persepective. So he has absolutely no idea of how good The Crocodile Punter is and how bad Gill was. Poles nailed that pick like Taylor nails opposing teams to their own 1 yd line. 🐻⬇️

    One thing I think some people don’t realize (not saying Lance is one of those people) is a punter that can pin someone inside the 5 as opposed to it becoming a touchback is just as valuable as a sack. A true difference making punter that can completely flip the field and not allow those games where you’re constantly pinned back, is just as good as maybe multiple sacks.

    I love Briggs one of my favorite all-time Bears and super insightful football analyst. However, he clearly didnt do his research on the punter. I am from Iowa and a huge Hawkeye football fan and Tory Taylor is more than just your average punter. Dude is an absolute machine and stellar at kicking in cold weather as well. Opponents offenses going to be starting drives backed up quite a bit. Normally I would chastise a punter in the 4th round but not this guy. Great pick

      Trenton has BEEN trash! So many games come down to flipping field position. ESPECIALLY, with a team that can get after the QB. It was a GREAT pick! Agreed with both above that those who negatively comment on Tory Taylor obviously don’t know who he is, and judge the punter by position, and NOT his generational talent at the position. Lastly, he would’ve been selected, and wouldn’t have lasted much longer. Again, GREAT PICK!

    • @gobullschi99
      @gobullschi99 23 วันที่ผ่านมา +8

      People need to stop over simplifying it by saying the round. There is a difference between the 1st pick and the 32nd pick in the first round. Tory Taylor was taken with the 122nd pick. That’s pretty close to being a 5th round pick. Trenton was awful. I’ll take an upgrade to the 53 during the winning window.

    Don't act like we didn't need a punter. That pick was ultimately to benefit the Defense. The biggest question this season is can Eberflus coach.
    We got everything we need to be competitive in the Playoffs. If we start out 0-5... Eberflus has to take accountability.

    I am not so sure the Lions have fewer holes than the bears (assuming and keeping my fingers crossed that williams is competent). Their WR are lacking - St Brown is a great posession guy but not explosive); IOL is a Q; RB is average; Can Johnson continue to manufacture easy plays for Goff or will the league catch up? D is still big issue - Q's on D line (even Hutch not so great if you take away the two games at the end of the year- rookie Wright stoned him twice); LB's are simply awful' DB's at best Q's. In general, their D lacks athletic talent. Bears need to come together but they have more explosive talent. They have powerful center and RT and OC that knows how to use his talent.
