These are hands on learning people. They learn from doing. Don’t throw it away fix it. Some of the smartest people on earth.
i could bet that the fat guy has never laughed a day in his life.
Pakistan is full of talent and hardworkers. ❣❣❣
Thanks
Absolutely amazing! Who else would try to salvage a bent rim like that?
Impoverished peoples
Thanks
He is quite good! I did the same thing with a homemade truing stand when I was a kid, but took me much longer.. This guy is crazy fast!
Amazing skill and experience..that rim was seriously bent ..i have been building bicycle wheels for more than 40 years and i would not attempt to straighten something damaged so badly..
Feigling !
They swapped the rim almost at the beginning of the process.
You would if you had to walk.....
I'm a mechanic for over 30ish years.
Loveeee to learn from other people.
I'm in the United States.....but I watch these video to remind me that even with technology.....never forget, there is a way to fix things.
Thank you for sharing your skills.
Thanks for watching!

That end bit reminds me of how I tighten my snare drum!!

Hello to Pakistan 🇵🇰 from Czech republic 🇨🇿
Hey Welcome To Pakistan
Real artisans, they are so able, we in EU are so spoiled and lack any motivation to repair... just throw it away and buy a new one... This is so satisfying to watch, people that still know the value of things.
I've been doing this job for over 20 years and that ring is easy to straighten because it's literally a tin can. The challenge is when you have to straighten a wider hoop (1.85) or one made in Japan. When assembling it, the direction of the rays could have been reversed. Furthermore, although it cannot be seen well, I think that when assembling it, a couple of rays were mixed together (18 rays are long-headed and 18 are short-headed). The worker only cared about making sure that the ring was in the center, but he did not take the trouble to remove all the small marks that he might have (some are only 1 millimeter or less). In the end he gives the impression that once the wheel was in the center he did not take the trouble to adjust all the spokes and re-center, what I would call the fine work, which is when the rim is 97-100% perfect. . ALL spokes must have a similar tension. I doubt this is the case; I give it 65/100. I liked the video anyway and I got a couple of interesting ideas.

Watched a motorcycle guy lace up a rear Harley wheel for me. Amazed how fast he did it and it took minimal effort to get it to run true!
What's that got to do with this video? These people ride real bikes and use true hands on skills!

In Norway, I have to travel several miles to even find a shop being able and the cost in total including repair would be around 200-250 usd.......It would also take 2-3 weeks.....
I work in the repair and maintenance of motorcycles in Mexico, this same job only with a different method and with a straight rim I did it in 1 hour, I have never tried to straighten a rim like this, with a cost of 350 Mexican pesos equivalent to 20.45 American dollars, cheap don't you think
Can't do it yourself? Hands growing out of your ass? Pay the money, bitch.
Thanks

Bravos !
Amat dahsyat, rim bengkok pon repair balik gayezzzz 😳🤔 bukan biasher² ni
I can tighten / loosen spokes, to make the rim TRUE again. BUT, i've never straightened a run-over bicycle rim......Good boy ! Perfection, in life, is a question of BALANCE - between opposite forces. ALL , except in human nature - evil is an UNBALANCED situation.
Yin and yang

Excelente trabalho 😊
Thanks
Trabalho muito bem Feito Parabéns.
Thank You
Straightening the rim is the most important step because if you leave it slightly bent the spoke tensions will be all over the place and the wheel will fail very quickly.
Amazing skill and experience
Thanks
