    The "circle dial" you are speaking of is called an attitude indicator. It gives you pitch and bank information.

    hey Cody thank you for the videos very helpful! However, there are so many prep books and guides and many seem to have the same sections, but they all seem a little different. Is there any prep book you studied that related most to the test you took?

    Hey Cody, really informative video- thank you. Were you enlisted for a year, then applied for an officers position, or did you go to the Air Force Academy; OR did you get your college degree and then take the AFOQT? I'm taking the latter route- just graduated college a week ago. Wondering if there's any other valuable advice to give. Thanks.

    what was on the aviation portion? Did they have questions about airport procedures?

      Michael Gamboa anything aviation related is fair game. History, procedures, schematics, jargon, etc.

      It all is possible.. if you're really worried, you can polish your table reading, instrument comprehension, and math knowledge scores to make up for it. I got a 92 pilot score and I guessed on more than half of the questions in aviation information.

    • @A1CYoung
      @A1CYoung  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pug life, your AFOQT minimum Pilot score is 25, minimum Navigator score is 10, minimum combined Pilot and Navigator Scores is 50, minimum Verbal Score is 15, and minimum Quantitative Score is 10.

      Cody Young which study guide do you recommend?

    Hey Cody I know you're probably really busy but could you make a video about scholarships because I was told that if you don't qualify for the high school scholarship that you can do ROTC and if you do good enough your commanders will recommend you for scholarships and I just wanted to know if there's any validity behind it! Oh and I was wondering if I could get into contact with you other than this for questions that don't apply to this not trying to be weird or anything!

      +Mason Robinson I'm actually in the same situation. I heard the same thing, but nobody knows exactly how it works

      +Mason Robinson yea, I wish they explained things a little better, because it's really irritating to be honest.

      +BansheeFang yeah but it's something I want to do for sure so I guess I'll just have to figure it out as we go!

      Everything you've heard is correct. If you do well while in college your commander can and will recommend you for scholarship. Happens all the time. It can happen whenever too just depends on how good you have your stuff together. Like grades and involvement in the program and what not. But yes you can be awarded scholarship even if you didn't qualify for it previously. AFROTC.com explains it really well
