Yesterday, I filmed Black Catcher from Black Clover, an opening that I really appreciate, even if my favorite is still Black Rover.
By the way, I've already made an arrangement for Black Rover. I'll try to revisit it soon and make some improvements if I have the time.
I also just noticed after filming the video that I wasn't thinking about how to use the pedal anymore, but I was improvising by feeling. I hope I'm using it correctly.

Yes, I practice at home without a pedal, so I only use the pedal when I'm filming, that's why the transitions aren't smooth yet 😅

it sounds incredible bro!! Im learning this song. Tip: you should do hard (forte) playing for the 0:08 to 0:18 - since that part is supposed to be dramatic. The first 8 seconds were great!! The soft playing there is def the way to go. Also, for the chorus, you should do hard playing - everything else is soft. Keep it upp!
Thanks a lot bro 😊 and I agree with you. If I had to remake the arrangement now, I would make a more impactful chorus by adding octaves in the right hand and a more complex accompaniment than just octaves 😄
Try hitting the keys softer and put some volume in the keys and keep them legato when needed, hope this helps!
Yes I agree, I play all the notes at the same intensity (I find the chorus not impactful enough) and I still had difficulty with the pedal and transitions. Thanks for your feedback bro 😄

are you self-taught? if so what was your approach in learning piano? i'm a beginner
Yes, I'm self-taught, so I'm also a beginner. I've been playing the piano for a little over a year now. Here's how I dit about it: at the beginning, I simply followed the easy tutorials I could find on TH-cam. Then, little by little, I started making modifications to what I was learning until I could find the notes on my own and make my own arrangements.

@@Shank00-b4c I find the melody quite simply by ear, however for the accompaniment I have to do lots of tests (I generally take inspiration from other arrangements too) 😄
