  • Hi everyone In the video, I give a quick insight into the safety rating in ACC. The race itself is at Donington Park, and I am hoping to continue racing in a way to improve my safety rating to gain a LFM licence to race in ACC Online. Thanks for watching, and I hope to see you in the next one.

    This is a good video describing how you can try to gain SA if you dont deserve to have it. I dont intend to be toxic here, but experience shows that if you cant get 99 SA on multiplayer, then you are basically doing something wrong. Yes, other people are also doing wrong stuff, but I can guarantee that unless the other guy wants to crash you or he completely lost the car - you CAN predict and correct his misstake so he wont hit you. And you can predict what a "bad" driver will do when you are attacking. Prediction is a huge part of being safe on the track and unfortunately, farming SA will get you nowhere as the game will drop you for crashing with others later in multiplayer.
    I'm driving all kinds of lobbies, leagues and doing start from back in open lobbies, for 8 months my SA havent dropped from 99 even tho I overtake 10+ cars per race when starting from back on purpose in open lobbies. They (99% of the time) dont want to crash you, but you need to expect that either the other guy will make a misstake or just is as unsafe as he can get and predict and work around that. Learn how to attack, defend, drive side by side (not artificially), when to attack, when to defend, when to "run away" from the corner, when to give up the attack - believe me thats it, you will find yourself at 99 SA in no time if you just find out what is wrong with your racecraft.

      The whole point of this video is how to improve your safety rating so you can get your LFM license. You need that to actually start a decent racing career and learn how to "predict" you have experience a lot of people don't. If someone is just starting and they jump in a open lobby they will be overwhelmed so they try to find a community to join.

      @@Phoenix9947 Thats the point. LFM is not supposed to be for people that dont have such experience, and boosting SA artificially will only make you crash into people later during the race, because they might think that you do have experience. If you are below 80 SA then its really bad - proof is that my friend had 65, couldnt improve it. Then I played on his account for literally 2 short (20 min) races and it went to 82 SA, yes in open lobbies. The correct approach is "oh, I have enough SA so I can go to LFM", and approach "How do I improve it asap so I can join LFM" is a recipe for disaster.

      @@ThePsycho211 I am an iRacing player, did it for quite a bit, I also have experience in other sims. I want to hop into ACC but the default multiplayer is rubbish so I am farming SA quickly to go into LFM because I don't want to bother with ACC multiplayer. That is the most frequent scenario and you're missing the point assuming that it's mostly new simracers who want to boost their SA to go to LFM. Most newbies will have a hard time getting 80 even on AI races. And even if they do, they might not be able to get the LFM licence anyways, becaue you have to farm clean laps in a decent pace to get it.

    I'm doing 10min race every day and ai difficult that match my speed and start at last and push for higher place, worked fine and gone from 85-91 SA in 2 weeks and then yesterday i bumped ONE ai car and went back to 84 SA....the safety system in acc is extremely broken
    (Your getting bonus point SA if you finish in podium)

      It is frustrating when that happens. Keep to it, and you will get there in the end. I do think that the system is harsh for contact because it's natural to sometimes contact other cars lightly. That's just the nature of racing in general.

      Something happend to the SA system.
      They somehow made it very difficult to even get SA points.
      I'm driving exactly the same as shown in this video, but than even in the dark with rain.
      And even than i'm just not getting the SA rating beyond 65.
      It frustrates the hell out of me.

    • @snippidippi
      @snippidippi 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @opoxious1592 the closer your are to a car the more SA you get. Take a track that you know well and ai at the same speed as you and then tailgate a ai car for the whole race. That will boost your SA quickly

      @opoxious1592 Also, make sure you are connected to the internet when you are doing this. I had a race the other day where the ACC servers went down. I didn't realise it, and I didn't get one point of SA for the entire race.

    Thanks for the video.
    I have just started ACC because I love all the different manufacturers, enduro events, going fast and driving in general, the longer the better.
    I just have one question - What length of race is best for increasing your SA?
    I don't know how it works but l would rather do one six hour event instead of a hundred small ones. I'm ok if I need to do the small races if they are more efficient for the SA
    Thanks again ⛳

      Hi @chip_in Thanks for watching.
      There are guys doing 10-minute races. I set my races to 20 minutes. I don't think there is any limit on race length for SA ratings, but I would recommend that if you want to do longer ones, do hour-long ones. I like the sounds in ACC, and the visuals there are brilliant.

    My issue with safety rating is having the AI agression on 90% or above with similar skill level at around 93-94% and they love to divebomb me into oblivion when I'm taking the ideal racing line, it's like when you have a 3 tenths lead, they just smash into you without slowing down, happens to me alot on last turn on Spa and t2 Brands Hatch

    • @JohnPetrucci251
      @JohnPetrucci251 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah they tend to do that every now and then, but I would get behind an ai and follow them for a few laps. That way you can see where they brake and use that information to help defend their divebombing attempts.

    i am in ACC for 11 hours now, and I am already at 60 SA. I dont try to push it artificially, i basically just ride and try to learn the maps, the car etc. for LFM i need to improve my driving skills anyway, so I dont think it is really necessary to somehow push your SA with tricks. just my 2 cents.

      I dont think this video intends to show people how to artificially increase SA. What it dose do is show people how to gane safety rating in a way where complete noobs dont destroy your hard earned SA by smashing in to you or intentionally smashing you off the track in servers where SA is at its lowest 😂

    There is nothing wrong with SA, but CC is weird. Points will be deducted if the vehicle slides even slightly. Personally, I prefer lowering the TC so I can slip a little on exiting corners for more steering power. Many masters have very low CC numbers.
    I ran one lap without making any mistakes and my CC dropped from 66 to 65.
