WOW BATCH 1! CONGRATS :D I'm stuck at Batch 4 :( im serving foodpanda philippines in cebu! But we don't have acceptance rate anymore due to complaints so its based on the number of deliveries. I miss the acceptance rate because i can climb up to Batch 2 easily :) but now i can maintain Batch 3 if i don't go on break, late etc

@@thejapaneseways2103 not really the best because we also have other food delivery company here in the Philippines like grabfood (GrabEats). The foodpanda here in manila is kinda chaotic right now due to the unstable and strict management. im from FoodaPanda Manila btw

Wow, today finally I got batch 1, totally agree, I am not sure how is in comparison to Malaysia, but in Japan as long I am on time and I don’t refuse trip is not so hard to get batch 1

One thing I wonder about: tipping culture. It sounds like FoodPanda is really nice to their drivers as opposed to UberEats regarding pay. But, does that mean FoodPands doesn't need to worry about tipping? UberEats drivers pretty much need tips, as far as I'm aware. So does that mean you don't tip FoodPanda drivers? They won't need it?

Yes Uber is not really fair to their drivers so they give options to the customers to give extra tips to the drivers.
In the other hand food panda Is a hourly base but this doesn’t mean that don’t get tips, they do, off course if the customers are nice and refuse the change for their cash back
Answering your questions, all the drivers need tips, is up to the customers

The thing is, Japanese people never leave tip to another Japanese workers, it’s an inappropriate
But if you are foreigner Japanese customer sometimes (1/20) give the tips, because they think is a culture thing

Bro are you sure they pay 1 hour 1000¥ how I know they pay 1 hour 1000¥ because I over 1 week now the pay by delivery and some times 2 hour I get only 700¥ but I never see this 1000¥ per hour can you explain to me how they pay it ?
I have working visa. Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services . Is it ok to apply? I also live in tokyo btw.
Hi Jeston, I am not sure with that visa you can join, I know that working visa has regulation saying that you can only work in that specific list.
Now I think international service it might enter for deliveries, I am not sure 100%
And unfortunately I can’t find food panda customer service phone number, the only things to do is to apply online and go to the office.

Hi Sam, personally I can’t read Japanese either, I only can read katakana and hiragana, but the fact is that you need to speak at little of Japanese at least or else they make difficult for you to join.
I have friends who can’t read Japanese but they still got the job.
So I believe, is just depends of how good you are to sell yourself to get the job
