    Drill holes under the helmut, so it can breathe.

    Cute! Suggestions?
    - A bit more offset for the sprocket , so the jacket does not cling to the wall and can dry better?
    -Big holes with drillsaw or flat wood drill in the plank under the helmet for airflow (leave visor open)
    -2 vertical 30cm broomsticks for the gloves to fit on (better drying capabilities)

    I love it. Your second iteration is awesome too.
    As a woodworker myself, what I’d change is I’d put some disposable gloves on to apply the stain.
    As a motorcycle rider I’d go to a wreckers or old repair shop and ask if they have any old handlebars with the grip still attached for the helmet peg.
    For the gloves I’d think a pair of poles (maybe the same handlebar) to slide each of them on to in case they are wet for any reason and it would allow them to dry faster.
    Love the sprocket, piston and chain link ideas. Nice build!

    i see your key chain pushes the key off of the pin. Maybe you could put a stop on the end or a slight angle on the pin to stop that from sliding off and increasing the ease to plop the keyring on there

    This looks really cool! It just seems like the Keys could slip off the masterlink pretty easily... To prevent that, you could try (glueing or just) putting an o-ring on the tip of the tiny metal part, which you put your keys on, so that they don't fall down when the wall or shelf somehow move a bit ((:

    This shelf needs a bike trouser shelf or something to keep bike trousers clean, and solo things for the boots

  • @iverstene8808
    @iverstene8808 2 ปีที่แล้ว +13

    Put a grip on the rod the helmet sits on. You won't see it when the helmet is there but I think it would be cool anyways.

  • @Knautschfriese
    @Knautschfriese 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Great work! 😺 With the Masterlink: I would remove one of the metal „rods“ to screw the link on. And hammer the tip of the other one flat, so that the keys won‘t fall off (It happens with my Rack, and it‘s annoying).
    I recommend to buy working rubber gloves, so you don‘t need to clean your hands after each working session.

  • @ZediMaster
    @ZediMaster 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Interesting vid, chaos. I would've replaced the wooden block with a short brake level to hold the helmet, add some small cedarwood sticks under the helmet to refresh the inside. Replace the sprocket with a long clutch lever for jacket hook. Replace the chain link with an angled spark plug for key hanging. Add back the crank shaft to move the piston away from the wall for spacing. Anyway, ride safe, god bless u.

    I struggle to get a proper place for my ear plugs, ear plugs box, disklock key, topcase key, garage door remote...both during rides and when I stop, at home or any other place.
    My jacket pockets are not always a safe place and I need a way to keep all this stuff together and secured. Except for the main bike key which has to be all by itself during the rides.
    Any idea ?

      Regarding gloves, you should not wear them when operating rotating power tools like drills, routers, circular saws …
