Episode 3-5 Notes:
Khadijah Bint Khuwaylid RA
Khadijah RA and the Prophet SAW are linked by lineage via Qusai. Khadijah RA had 4 brothers and 1 sister. Khadijah RA has two famous nephews who are Zubair Al Awwam RA and Hakim Ibn Hizam RA. Khadijah RA had two husbands prior to marrying the Prophet SAW and there is a big controversy on how many children Khadijah RA had, from her previous two husbands. It is from one of these two husbands that Khadijah RA obtained a lot of wealth.
There are different accounts on how the Prophet SAW married the Khadijah RA. The more likely one is that the Prophet SAW was working as a shepard for Hala the sister of Khadijah RA and Hala praised him for his character. The Prophet SAW began working for Khadijah RA after hearing Hala’s praise of him. Khadijah RA was interested in the Prophet SAW and thus sent her friend Nafisa RA to see how he feels about her. The Prophet SAW told Nafisa RA that he doesn’t believe Khadijah RA would want to marry him but, after Nafisa’s RA reassurance he via Hamza asked for her hand. Waraqah Ibn Nawfal helped manage the marriage process.
The House Khadijah consisted of many prominent members of the Ahl Al Bayt and famous Sahabah RA such as Ali RA, Zaid Al Haritha RA, Umm Ayman as well as the kids of Khadijah RA from before her marriage to the Prophet SAW and after.
Khadijah RA was comforting and praised the Prophet SAW after the first revelation and then suggested visiting Waraqah Ibn Nawfal. Abu Lahab rejecting the daughters of the Prophet SAW after Islam was a humiliating matter for Khadijah RA. Khadijah RA was there with the Muslims during the boycott and she passed shortly after the boycott at the age of either 53 or 65. She was buried in Al Hujun and the Prophet SAW himself put her body into her grave. The Salatul Janazah had not been legislated yet and thus it was not performed for her.
Fun Trivia fact: Abraha was eventually kicked out of Yemen by his own people a few years after the “Year of the Elephant”.
Fun Trivia fact: Hakim Ibn Hizam RA is the only person in history to be born inside the Ka’ba.
Fun Trivia fact: Khadijah RA is the only Ummahatul Mu'minin that the Shia respect.
Fun Trivia fact: There is a controversy if Fatima RA is the youngest child or the second youngest child of the Prophet SAW. Both opinions have strong evidences.
Fun Trivia fact: Ruqayyah RA is one of the children of the Prophet SAW who had done both Hijras of Medina and Abyssinia.
Fun Trivia fact: After marrying the Prophet SAW, Khadijah RA stopped believing in Idolatry. This is because the Prophet SAW never did idolatry and she followed him in this decision after marriage.
Fun Trivia fact: On some occasions prior to Prophethood, the Prophet SAW would take Khadijah RA to Jabal Al Nour.
Fun Trivia fact: Khadijah RA was the first Muslimah to do Wudhu and pray of the Ummah of the Prophet SAW.
Fun Trivia fact: Umm Kulthum RA and Ruqayyah RA were initially betrothed to Abu Lahab’s two sons but after Islam this engagement was broken off by Abu Lahab.
Fun Trivia fact: The Prophet SAW stated in an authentic hadith that, the best ladies of the Heavens and Earth are Maryam Bint Imran RA and Khadijah Bint Khuwaylid RA.
Fun Trivia fact: Aisha RA narrates many of the Hadith about Khadijah RA despite the jealousy she had of her.
Fun Trivia fact: Allah SWT sent Salaam to Khadijah RA via Jibreel AS, who also sent Salaam to her through the Prophet SAW.
Fun Trivia fact: There are 3 versions of the Tashahhud one that the Hanafi’s/Hanbalis use, one that the Maliki’s use and one that the Shafi’s use. Each of the 3 is attributed back to a prominent Sahabi RA.
Fun Trivia fact: The Tashahhud was taught to the Sahabah RA after they were commanded to praise Allah SWT in Salah and did so incorrectly.
Fun Trivia fact: You can never say Salaam, Jzakallah, Allhamdulilah, Mashallah to Allah SWT. All of this comes from Allah SWT.
Fun Trivia fact: The Prophet SAW would give food to the friends of Khadijah RA after her demise and maintained contact with them.
Fun Trivia fact: Muslims are allowed to do Hajj on their parents behalf.

Please note: I HIGHLY recommend that you all watch YQ’s MOB series, as I DON’T cover every single detail the Sheikh mentions. I made these notes primarily for myself but, decided my fellow brothers and sisters may benefit from them too. I no doubt will have made mistakes in my notes. All the good in these notes is from Allah SWT and all the mistakes are from myself. But, I was very meticulous and tried my best to make sure everything is accurate as the Sheikh mentions it.
You also will see I have added “Fun Trivia facts” under each of my notes. These FTFs are information YQ said that was off topic or not necessary to include in my notes for the episode. But, they were still worth mentioning hence the inclusion as FTFs. FTFs aren’t always HAPPY pieces of information. Sometimes they are very sad trivia. I just want to say that FTF is the phrase I used for them all collectively when making the notes.
One thing I wanted to do but am too lazy to do is, maybe someone could take the FTFs from under each “Episode” and make an Islamic reminder/information IG/TikTok account and post them daily or something. Could be a great form of Sadaqah Jaariyah.

I feel like you should do a lecture clarifying the dates about islamic events between the hijra calendar & julian or Gregorian calendar as you give some confusing answers compared to what I know e.g. khadija's death being at 609CE according to you when the common knowledge elsewhere I learnt is actually 619CE

When you talk about people names before Islam all what you talk about is absolutely wrong, tell people the truth and you should go to visit Arab countries for you to understand what you saying and you should study Sunnah more in Islam countries
