FYI in 2014-16 her parents got life term sentence by the Apex court of India but later they knocked the high court's door and got acquitted because there wasn't enough evidence to prove em' guilty and lack of evidence, they got out of prison after serving 2 years. This case had been opened twice by CBI and local police was criticized for their apathy & negligence.

The actual Surname of the Family is Talwar ...but they used the Movie name as Talvar(sword)... I did an internship with NHRC ( National Human Rights Commision India) 3 years back and we had a trip to Gaziabad jail where the Husband and Wife were going through Trials...He's a dentist and he opened a clinic inside for the inmates....he's a really nice man in one of the walls he painted a teary eye saying We miss you 'Arushi'( Daughter)..its really sad to see that..and truths were really manipulated in this Case....its sad that the real killers are still at lose....
There was an almost similar case that happened in US in 1990s i think. It was in regards to child pornography as well as murder of their daughter. It had similar situation to that of this case.
