Ciaccona Tomaso Antonio Vitali ! Bravissimo !!!
The instrument has a grand noble tone, brilliantly ringing. Must be a Strad. Grateful to maestro Suk who left us this everlasting beautiful piece. Thanks for sharing.
He played Antonio Stradivari “Duc de Camposelice” (1710), Stradivari “Libon” (1729), Giuseppe Guarneri del Gesù “Prince d'Orange” (1744). For sure this is a Strad.
Sure there are a lot of brilliant violinists on other videos here but this version of Vitali's Ciacona I love best of all. May be excellent Mr Suk accompained by organ sounds more tragic and rich. Thank you very much for posting!
Gorgeous. Makes me purr. Slower more relaxed tempo lets the music speak for itself rather than the artistry. Blooming bell tones. Love it, passion in the vibrato.
@@ilon2818Nene, Jeho dědeček byl Josef Suk - skladatel. Antonín Dvořák byl jeho pradedecek. Skladatel Suk si vzal za manželku dceru Antonína Dvořáka.
simply the most beautiful thing, music, classical, this most of all, Josef Suk you are the most influential person, ever. Complete passion, so much work put in to this masterpiece. It was a privilege to listen to you Mr. Suk. Thank you.
Josef Suk remains my favourite violinist ever, his honest and captivating recordings inspire me every single time I hear him play. A soul blessed to enrich those who love and search for integrity in the language of music..
@famallabitur Check out Heifetz's recording, he is also accompanied by an organist and IMO his interpretation is the most moving and exciting one I've ever heard.
The dramatic intensity of his playing leaves you breathless.
Superb virtuoso Josef Suk. Only to be expected from a man with a pedigree like his. Exceptional skill.

Maravillosa interpretación del Excepcional Violinista .
Oh! What a fantastic rendition. Suk was born to play it.
Beautiful version of this piece. Bravo Maestro!
Thank you for posting. Just beautiful. The various interpretations all add to the beauty of this music. Love the violin and organ together.
Sempre misurato. Grandissima sua interpretazione del concerto di Beethoven.
BEAUTIFUL, SCINTILLATING !
Magnificent violin playing!
Josef Suk was truly a remarable artist.
Jako jeho děda....
@@ilon2818 A také jeho pradědeček...
His grandfather was composer Josef Suk and great grandfather was composer Antonín Dvořák.
@@kamilprochazka9875 pradedeček?
@@ilon2818 přesně tak. Dědeček byl Josef Suk, pradědeček Antonín Dvořák.

There are so many changes in color, he must have thought and worked extremely hard on and about this piece
Thanks for posting = D
Now, I crying in his song.
Einerseits sehr klar, andererseits empfindsam und kraftvoll. Eine der besten Interpretationen!
i agree...seems like he puts love into every note
This is the best version for me! What a wonderful sound!
+Sabine919 Yes, a beautiful sound from a master Violinist!
This music is profound !
Is the best version for me too. With organ and slow tempo
Gorgeous. Makes me purr. Slower more relaxed tempo lets the music speak for itself rather than the artistry. Blooming bell tones. Love it, passion in the vibrato.

Beautiful ! I can feel his world.
yes!
organ really is a lovely compliment to the violin lead.
Merci rmabgoi
life and love in every note
R.I.P. Maestro.
Beautiful!
Tohle je prostě paráda!

Lo amo estA cancion 😇😇😣😭
Wow! Thank you. It's hard to collect myself. Divine!
Does anyone know which version he plays here? By whom? There are various versions. I like this one very much.
J.Suk and A.Navarra made a legendary recording of Brahms Double concerto with the Czech Philharmonic, and also a Duo-sonata by Ravel..! AWESOME.
phenomenal!
reminds me of francescatti
RIP Maestro. I'll continue learning from you.
This is my first listning of this chacone ,I don't know how it can be bether
Inarrivabile pulizia del suono... unico. Tutti i miei rispetti, maestro.
Magistral ejecución .
cluld you please link to this exact rendition? I want to buy it and jave it in lossless!
I never knew anyone had written for violin and organ! An unexpectedl combination.
TiticatFollies Have you tried Heifetz?
maestro
RIP Mr. Suk...
Almost the best Version here on YT ! LES
He makes a really great sound but I'm just wondering...did he skip the octaves at 9:17? I couldn't hear them.
it's definitely a different edition than what is normally played
Yeah he definitely changed a few parts from the original.
maybe cause that's the only one available on TH-cam in more than 240p :P
I meant Stradivari. Sorry about the typo.
Someone has the sheet music of this version?
@sijas To me reminds more Grumiaux´s recording from this piece
When did Suk give this performance?
PLZ tell me what violin did he play here? is it Strad? the sound was just unbelievable; he played absolutely unique and touching.
It's not about the violin. But yes, it's a strad.
I believe Josef Suk played a 1727 Straduvari violin.
@famallabitur
the nicest version for me is from Jasha Heifetz. Josef Suk plays very well, but it sounds to me too slowly.
Beautiful violin tone. Better than Heifetz's violin tone.
@famallabitur Check out Heifetz's recording, he is also accompanied by an organist and IMO his interpretation is the most moving and exciting one I've ever heard.
aww no intro....great tho!!
Onuitsprekelijk schoon…
