It doesn’t make much sense adding Rains of Castamere here but I had a lot of fun arranging this and loved how it turned out! Hope you enjoy it!
Haha when I heard that, I imagined Tywin Lannister looming over the Targaryen legacy like a scary ghost. Like we're seeing the Targaryens at the height of their power now, but Tywin will still have the last laugh in the end. The Targaryen anthem being overshadowed by the all to familiar and even scary notes of the Rains if Castamere.
Who cares about how much sense it does or doesn't make ? End result is that it sounds great, and that's what really matters ! Great job :)

Something about Rhaenyra’s theme is just so good. It has a young, rebellious and adventurous vibe to it, just like young Rhaenyra is rebellious and adventurous
Honestly, I love the Rains of Castamere in this. Just as the fire rains of the volcanos wiped out Valyeria, the “rains” of the Lannister’s wiped out the Castamere. Both symbolic.
Oh and the Lannister’s are the ones that wipe out the Targaryens. And so the spoke,

But now watching the pre-quel as I mentioned above I think you are 💯 % right. When Jaime Lannister kills the mad king talking at the point of house of the dragon. When Jaime kills the mad king is truly When the targaryen lineage fell. Can't belive it took the pre quel for me to realize that.

Loved the metallic beatings, they recall some of the Targaryen themes from GoT.

For those who find it confusing, remember that the Lannister twins Jason and Tyland courted her. It’s mentioned in the book and they briefly show it in episode 3; making this music theme mix not so out of place.
Read the book. It's still out of place for me 😅
I mean Castamere and House Reyna were still around during this time period so it is in a sense out of place
But the song was made after Tywin destroyed castamere… so it did not exist during Tulane and Jason time

Long story short , almost all great houses at westeros had a valyrian steel sword , and the lannisters were like : we want one too !
And they bought one for a very high price from valyria , thus the lannisters gold might have brought doom to valyria , given what the prophecy claims ...

People thinking that Adding Rains of Castamere doesn’t make sense but the there was a prophecy that the Lannister gold will bring the doom to Valyria so adding Rains of Castmere here and making it rains of Valyria was very ironic and loved it

Who was Rhaenyra Targaryen's greatest enemy? (Book spoilers follow.)
Alicent was the heart of the greens, using her social power to bring together a coalition to stand against Rhaenyra. Otto was the diplomat, bringing a foreign power into the war as an ally to counteract her overwhelming naval power. Aemond was the muscle, a raging firestorm whose utter audacity and courage prevented her from simply winning the war through her dragons. Larys was the spy, always undermining her from the shadows. The Prophet (though not a green) was the soul, using religious faith to stir the people into rejecting her, persuading them so thoroughly that they willingly laid down their lives by the hundreds and the thousands to take away her greatest weapons.
But Tyland Lannister recognized a truth that none of Rhaenyra's other enemies understood: wars are won by logistics. However powerful you are, you need a treasury to manage a kingdom. When Rhaenyra was on the brink of total victory, Tyland took away her greatest strength by forcing her to squeeze the life from her people to replenish her coffers. He took the Realm's Delight and turned her into Maegor come again, undone by her own hand, and through the most extreme torture, his iron will never gave way.
Rhaenyra was a queen of legend, a hero and a villain both, and Aegon II was nothing but a spoiled palace brat propped up by his family. He may have gotten the final blow, but he did not defeat Rhaenyra--Tyland did.
Like his descendants Tywin - and very likely, Jaime.
And this is why Rhaenyra should've went to the North with her son because she may have lost a lot of battles in the South but with the North, whose lands remained untouched by the flames of the Dance, standing on her side she could've won a better victory.
Just simply imagine her flying atop of Syrax leading armies of Cregan Stark on her back ready to reclaim the King's Landing for the 2nd time.

Mixing Rhaenyra’s theme with the Lannister’s Rains of Castamere is weird.
Think of it more as a 'scene theme' when a targaryan meets a lannister and their themes clash.

they will have a huge role, one of the Lannister brothers will even lead her to a fall and a terrible death. Hiding gold from the treasury will lead to poverty and an uprising in the kings landing that will force Rhaenyra to flee. She will run to Dragonstone and meet her brother here with dragon :) Never reject the Lion.

It's also anachronistic. The Rains of Castamere were written about how Tywin dealt with troublesome vassals. This wouldn't happen until over a century after Hot D.
