Its already been confirmed for the longest time. All of Peter's suits in the game will have a unique symbiote varient.
Edit: I get it I was wrong. I read an article about hopes for the game like 2 years ago and misremembered it. Let it go. The game is still amazing and improved on the previous entries in every way.

@@UltimateLimitless678 I'm aware Spider-Man 3 had it... But you had to open a whole other menu to swap between suits... And the PS2 version, well... It got harder and harder to take the symbiot on and off... Which was a cool idea. And I hope that insomniac does the symbiot transition justice...

Fr i thought the game was going to have a dark vibe into it, like, i thought it would take place literally right after miles morales like 2-3 weeks later, like peter said cleaning his house in queens, and at the end of the game miles was talking about his dads ranch to go swing to queens to help peter out with his house work, and all of that how i thought the first part of the gams would start. Like celebrating the new year and thats when **** gets real for the game story. Like that real dark vibe violent scary

That is actually the perfect button to switch between the variations of Peter’s suit for symbiote or regular outfit
Of course it is. That was the button you'd press to switch outfits in Spider-Man Web of Shadows
I love how Miles convinced Peter to re-use most of his old gadget & equipment design(referring to the web glider)from the Remastered spiderman game
It seems Peter's personality is changing very fast due to the symbiote itself he's combat ability has improved but became more lethal i guess?
His voice tone and way of thinking became more reckless because of the symbiote and lastly it seems he doesn't much use of his quips in this fight he became arrogant and reckless because of the symbiote.
Glad to see Miles improved a bit in his swinging and combat.

I totally respect everyone being grateful for symbiote surge, but it’s nowhere near as good as being able to swap whenever. Symbiote surge is timed so you’re forced to swap back when it runs out. People can argue that it doesn’t work for the story, but couldn’t they have added the ability when he got the antivenom suit and was in control? I just found a lot of the new game kinda disappointing.

Don't forget Spider-Man 3 ps2 version. Even though the graphics were garbage and the gameplay was shoddy but the black suit was the best part. It was handled far better than the ps3 and Xbox 360 version.

It kinda is. If you activate ‘rage mode’, (I think it’s called surge in the game) whilst wearing a different suit. He changes into the symbiote. Don’t think it does the same for the anti-venom powers though.
@@emmetkavanagh5288you are right, the ability is called 'Symbiote Surge', it is really OP tbh XD, also it does work with the anti-venom powers, you transform into the anti-venom suit

It’d be cool if like there was a different Symbiote suit with each different suit, so you’d have the classic suit then switch to Symbiote and BAM it’s the Symbiote suit from Ultimate, then you switch back to the Advanced Suit and it’s Symbiote version is the one from the Gameplay Trailer.
Edit: none of this happened but I’m happy with what we got, even got the classic black suit which makes Traversal and your Webs black which I LOVE, reminds me of the Ultimate Symbiote mod in Ultimate Spider-Man which makes the Symbiote suit in that game darker and less purple, making the webs black AND the portrait of Spider-Man is his Symbiote Costume, completely fucks up Venom but who cares it looks and feels awesome to swing around in with both games.
Can we appreciate how good the red and blue suit looks compared to the last game. It looks so good and the red is lot more red compared to the old orange red, the new suit just looks fantastic

U know what would be sick, if they do this like the suit switch then like red suit should have dodging with circle and the black suit should have countering with triangle (think Batman Arkham) to like show the brutality of Spider-Man

Looks like we won’t be having that ability to swap the suits using a button. We are gonna have to do it through the menu and apparently you can be pretty use any suit. It sure would look awkward seeing a normal suit with symbiote powers...

It already tech does this, but ONLY in surge mode, if you just got the symbiote suit and unlocked surge mode, every time you enter surge mode, the symbiote suit will cover whatever suit you're wearing! And when you get the anti venom suit, then THAT suit takes over during surge mode! It's cool asf tbh
I dont usually get as excited over Spiderman content as everyone else does, but im absolutely stoked for this game.
An underappreciated gem of a game was spiderman web of shadows. Decent ish combat. City felt alive. Soo many meaningful cameos. You had everything. Luke Cage, black cat, moon knight, Wolverine, venom, the entire sinister six. And a badass finale with multiple endings. Good and bad choices. Refrences filled to the brim. Gun web slinging. Only thing it was bounded by its time. If it gets a remake today it will be definitely the best spiderman game to date
Also, different skill trees for both suits. Characters and the people of the city react differently according to which suit you use

If only we had gotten this feature . . . I would have very much preferred this and to have your abilities switch depending on which suit you're wearing instead of having to switch between each ability individually in the pause menu. That is my biggest and one of my only gripes with the game now that it's out. Web of Shadows did it, I just don't see why Insomniac couldn't have taken that concept . . .

@@ashsanimationsandstuff2463 does it? I'll have to try that out. Regardless, surge mode is on a pretty quick timer and takes a while to recharge, plus basic attacks become just about as devastating as the abilities during it so it's pretty much another version of Spartan Rage in God of War, which is different from what I mentioned about Web of Shadows.
To clarify, I'm happy with the way the game is, it just would have been cool to get something like the concept in this video. I realize they would have had to substantially change the way the combat works as a whole to implement that kinda mechanic, so I understand why they made it the way it is, and it works really well. Definitely gonna test out what you mentioned too, might make me use surge mode more often.
@@noicoiner6151yeah the only consequence is that you cant use the abilities you earned from anti venom unless they are default in your current moveset. it just goes with the first symbiote abilities u ever earned. still a cool game mechanic and made me use the spider arms more to use all 8.

@@Nayops23deadset. Considering the last quarter was basically web of shadows remake, and with the web of shadows vibes from the symbiote in general I was almost certain it would be a feature. Basically as soon as I got the black suit and pressed ever button and checked all the settings, there is no such thing. Idek if it possible to implement such a thing but as others have said with the insane sales (and ofc money) they’ve gained from only a week, and basically guarantee for dlc, and insomniac just being awesome, I am really hopeful they hear and see us and include this. I can’t imagine ng+ without this feature fr

I hope you don’t have to unlock a skill to switch, it would be cool if when you get the suit in the story you press a button to switch(and the black suit changes looks depending on the suit underneath)
I think that’s like one of the first upgrades we get for the suit
