Thank you for this video! Stepin could have been made principal years ago, having such solid technique, musicality, amazing petite allegro (best in Mariinsky today I believe) and crisp footwork. Especially the last few years, as this video also shows, he has developed amazing artistry and he connects so well with his partners. He is my favourite after Shklyarov. And the partnership of Stepin and Shakirova is the most exciting in Mariinsky.
