    This woman is craziness. Thank you for clarifying when things are said to be true vs provable by evidence too, I've noticed that and am grateful!

      You would be too if they downgraded your title and birth rite from princes of the blood and took that legitamcy from you .Takeing everything basically from you including your heritage by blood unable to keep your position or any future claims.

    It is even greater that you make videos about lesser known charecters from the Bourbon familly.

    Thank you so much for making this video. I find the Duchess of Maine's personality to be the complete opposite of her sister-in-law, Mademoiselle de Blois, the wife of the regent who she wanted to overthrow.
    Could you make a video of the scandalous yet fabulous daughter of the regent, Marie Elisabeth d'Orleans, Duchess of Berry.

    If I may suggest some interesting things to cover on this channel.
    1. King Philip IV, or known by his other titles (if you wish to use them) Philip the Fair (Philippe le Bel), Philip I of Navarre, Count of Champagne, and his infamous nickname "The Iron King" (le Roi de fer).
    2. The Frankish Emperor Charlemagne
    3. The Man in the Iron Mask
    4. Sir Roland of Roncevaux (whose song about his last stand against the moors at Roncevaux Pass was the earliest piece of French literature.)

      @TheKingsofFrance  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      thank you for your suggestions. noted and I will see what I can do ! Charlemagne is a given, the man in the iron mask is done and will air in the beginning of 2022 (i work a few weeks ahead to assure content at all times).

    • @TheKingsofFrance

      There were meant to be unproductive and bored. It was the way Louis XIV controlled them at court by performing meaningless tasks.

      The nobility were, in fact, forbidden by the social order to have jobs, in the modern sense. Their role was to uphold standards of class and society, e.g., how to dress, walk, talk, dance, etc., as well as looking after their subjects. It’s too bad the well-to-do today aren’t expected to uphold the same obligations. It’s jeans and T-shirts for everyone, it seems.

    • @jacquesrenou2850
      @jacquesrenou2850 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No,not as unproductive as you think,I suggest you look further into their accomplishments and things they achieved and legacy's they left behind as well as the great people,their descendants were and became.
