To everyone in Steve's community: We saw your sweet cmts, that does mean so much to us. Looking forward to witnessing more great content brought by Steve with you all🤩🤩!
Thanks PCBWay. And much more thanks SDG. Your reviews are amazing. It's great that you compare different items (e.g., soldering stations) you own/use. And even you own/use very expensive items, you are not biased that 'everything else is garbage'. It's pleasure to watch you videos!
Thanks PCBWay. It could be moded to blow the air at front. Also power button on the handle would be useful like Atten has it. And also long press for cooling the board if needed.
Thanks PCBWay. Got laid off 2 months ago and can't access the soldering equipment from my previous employer anymore. We can hope! :) It's important that you do these reviews... I just bought Aixun JBC clone by your review and few more recommendations and it's been amazing! 150€ for that is a steal... The original JBC stations have gone up in price about 40-60% so they're not in any way in price league for a hobbyist...
This is an interesting hot air station, certainly cloned and optimized from other larger and more expensive stations. Hopefully it will stand the test of time, if not - it seems quite repairable :ø) Thanks PCBWay and SDG Electronics for the tear down + the chance to win it.
Thanks PCBWay! That looks much nicer than the Quick ones to be honest, the holder looks a bit more convenient to me. And I'm happy to see they've included as 10A "fush" [sic].
Looks like nice station for beginners. I learn how to fix things so they don't end on landfill so this would be nice addition, because I do not have any hot air station yet. Thanks PCBway
Thanks PCBWay! Great hot air station for price! My station doesn't have memory function and it's close to fan replacement because bearings, sometimes, putting out noise.. 😂
Thank you Steve for this presentation, 👍I suppose that after 2 months it still works? 🤞 Could you give the values used in the last part concerning temperature and air flow please? Thanks again.
Ok thank you, 360°C seems a lot, probably with a 50% air flow to reduce the popcorn effect! A video on welding with the device would be (perhaps) interesting (occasionally). @@sdgelectronics
@@vincentvidal3305 you have to use a higher temperature because the ambient air is drawn into the airflow when there is any distance between the nozzle and pcb, reducing the temperature. The temperature setpoint is only valid at either the heating element or nozzle, depending on how they calibrate it
That's a pretty nice price for the build and performance. The form seems to be nice for any bench as well, but it's a bit of a shame that the exterior is so blindingly twitter blue. Only a bit. Not that I complain about the blue cases on Tek equipment. 🤔 I'll have to keep an eye on this one.
@@-COBRA If it doesn't matter, then the manufacturers wouldn't go through the trouble of making it blue. Or beige equipment wouldn't have been made beige to match its surroundings back in the day. I actually thank you more for these amazing vids and reviews and the station has to go to someone that can use it but can't buy it. Thanks again mate for the work you put in for the repair comunity 🙏

The biggest problem with this is the side hose! It is on the side! The engineer should be fired.
Literally we just need to print a 90 angle part here.
Thanks PCBWay, for supporting this channel!
Thanks PCBWay for being so fast and cheap to get custom PCB's.
Thanks PCBWay -- your soldering station reviews are my go-to resource whenever I want to suggest one to someone. Keep up the good work!
Thanks PCBway. This looks better than my old broken heat gun unit.

Greater thanks to SDG Electronics, really enjoy the videos.
Love the channel SDG Electronics, Thanks PCBWay

Thanks PCBWay and superb video as always.
Thanks PCBway and thanks for the review.
I think I have a spare piece of kapton tape for that beeper...
Thanks PCBWay
And also for your videos, interesting as always.
Thanks PCBWay! Great review as always.
Thanks PCBway.
I used pcbway a few times and never had any issues.
£80 Delivered is a really good price, and its a great colour too.
Really nice HAS for the hobbyist or anyone just starting out as a trainee. Thanks for sharing, Steve
Thanks PCBWay been using them for a while now, always cheap and quick, The hot air station looks good enough for us hobbyist
Thanks PCBWay!
This would be better than the paint stripper I'm currently using ... 😃
Thanks PCBWay, and thanks to SDG, i actually learn about solder types and flux from your videos. I really wanted to get that hot air station
Great hot air station, Thanks PCBWAY, always appreciate your content 👍

Yeah, the larger stations made no sense, no reason to have a huge box. This is a more reasonable design. Using about 6 months not failed yet.
Thanks PCBWay, ans thanks to SDG for the great videos.
Thanks PCBWay and another great video, thanks.

Thanks PCBWay, (loved your recent X-Ray repair video by the way! Would love to have a specimen X-ray like that in a makerspace)
Thanks PCBWay!

looks very nice! heats up and cool down in no time
Thanks PCBway and thanks for the videos!
Thanks PCBWay. Very nice!

So am I the winner?
Thanks PCBWay 😍🔥
Thanks PCBWay. 😊
I have a Quick 861DE so I am set and going to leave this one for a different lucky winner.
Thanks PCBway, i will be using the service for PCBs that i need here and thee
Very nice. Working on a open source hot air station at the moment
Thanks PCBWay ! 👍
Thanks PCBway. ^_^ I was just looking for a hotair station. :-)
Thanks PCBWay ❤ You make incredible content like this channel possible

You should revisit the JBC DDE-1C open up the display unit for US so compare what MCU they are using in yours.

Still working fine. Temperature was 360C. I don't recall the flow rate, but it was set to not blow away components

Colour doesn't matter. Moreover now, when the Twitter is X and black.
Or even Hakko blue for that matter.
