You have taught me so much. I could write a chapter on what I have learned from you, but the big thing is I love cooking over fire. It takes a bit of practice, but once you understand your cooker and have dealt with a cut a few times, you gain some confidence and just let it do it's thing. And I love the taste. We have pecan groves where I live and I have come to love that for my smoke wood. It literally smells nutty to me as it burns--you gave me the confidence to try different woods, but pecan is my go to. Anyway, thanks!

Wow! Everything looked sooo good before cooking I can only imagine how good everything tasted after cooking. A great looking meal and that cornbread oh my Goodness I love cornbread definitely gotta try that and those tender and Juicy well seasoned ribs and the fried cabbage amazing and as always a beautiful presentation and that was a beautiful blue cast iron skillet your the best Master Chef watching you cook will never be boring.

I live in northeast Ga and we got hit pretty hard from Helene so I know it must’ve been pretty bad down there. I’m hoping and praying that yall faired well with the storm. @@bbqsouthernstyle I’m doing really well, thank you for asking! 🤗 I’ve been working on doing some rearranging in my house here recently. I had this old dorm room size refrigerator in my garage. It’s small but heavy. I feel like such a weakling…I had to get my neighbor to help me put it upstairs. I’m thinking of turning one of my rooms up there into a small kitchenette. I cleaned it up and plugged it in, and it works great. Worst case scenario…I’ll have a fridge to keep a pitcher of water in so that my cats always have cold, filtered water to drink! I know…call me crazy! Lol! How are you doing? Are you caught up with everything…so you can take a breather? It’s hard to slow down when you have a house, with property and pets…I get it…the work never ends! I loved your video today. I do love them all, but today’s was exceptionally good. I admire you for sharing your recipes. You have perfect sense of what tastes and flavors work well together. I do want to try both, but I have no clue how to make my own bacon. Store bought will work, right?

I thought I was the only one that put apple cider vinegar in my cabbage. I add a little brown sugar too. It takes it over the top. It’s a great combination with the braised cabbage and the ribs
Clearly, the ribs had a nice crust and look great. I love stir fried cabbage and you had me at "bacon." I used to like cornbread with chili, but not unless it was dense, like yours. Nothing worse than crumbly cornbread. BTW, you had me at "Rum," but peppercorns? 🤔 I'll definitely try that! 🏆

I've seen you cook ribs on various smokers/grills, but I've never seen you cook ribs on a pit barrel on this channel unless I missed it. I do have to ask ,have you ever tried ribs on a pit barrel in the past? If so, how did it turn out for you?
One big bowl just for the cabbage dish, that's how I would roll. And one whole slab of rib and Yellow caution Tape around me. LOL I will be trying the cornbread in a few day's, I have gotten away from Jiffy mix a long time ago, have always done cornbread from scratch. it is very easy, but you have taken it over the top.
