You don't have to down the full spin you just need to press up right down left in any order to trigger it, so you push when punching to prevent the jump.
@@stupendous1068 It's never really been a full 360, 270ish has worked before. I saw this tip about just making the 4 directional inputs and tried it and it worked for me.
