I've followed Haley for almost 12 years, my opinion: 1. Have you listened to what's considered 'mainstream' music, or what's on 'hit' radio? Does it sound anything like the music Haley wants to make? 2. The Music industry is diminishing as more ability to find the music you like whether by streaming, youtube, soundcloud, etc grows, so they've become more aggressive w/ the way they manage artists. They no longer try to develop talent. Look at recent pieces on the industry, or what musicians had to say. Last year, the musician Halsey posted about how she was excited for her new music, but her label told her they won't publish her songs unless she can get a hit on Tik Tok. One of the ways they find new talent is Tik Tok, look at Addison Rae who started as a 'dancer' (really just appropriating black dancer moves...she's admitted it... and swinging her arms around. She has a music contract, music videos etc and zero talent. The music industry is now putting out AI generated music, many of Spotify's music is AI generated, that way they don't have to pay artists. 3. Haley wants nothing to do w/ all that BS listed above. She's in it for the music, looks for what inspires her, and wants to make her own way, A true musician. She may not be Super star famous, but she makes her own decisions, has the rights to her own music and can do whatever her instincts to try other thing like acting/voice acting. She makes a comfortable living as the 'master' of her own career. 4. Haley likes to enjoy her life, she likes to be able to go to the local market and not be mobbed by paparazzi. She is well versed in music history, knows what happened to John Lennon and the Latina singer Selene. She's a lot wiser than the public persona she portrays. 5. The family she was raised in, her parents have been in a band together for over 40 years, her Dad, Harry, taught her to scat before she could speak as a baby, using call and response. I once had a talk with Harry. He told me he refuses to be a 'helicopter' parent, someone living through their child for the fame. He told me he wants Haley to make her own choices knowing her parents will always be there for advice if she needs it. Apparently Haley calls her parents daily to keep in touch. 6. Since I've followed Haley, especially on Instagram, I've been able to have a sort of relationship w/ many of the musicians she's played w/ over the years, and everyone I've talked about music labels w/ , they've all agreed, in the 21st century, w/ all the internet technology available, you don't need labels to produce music, to promote yourself, or to have a fulfilling career in music. Artists of this generation know that they have the ability to have the career they want in the palm of their hands and it's up to them to make it happen instead of a Huge system taking a large percentage of what you make and owning your music. 7. Haley is unique in so many ways, and why I'm proud to be able to support her on her own journey through music.
Haley is the epitomy of class...her sublime sensuality and style combined with her incredible voice and her heart of gold make hearts melt the world over

He said they decided to try it with just his guitar at mic check, “It was a cool moment especially since we sat in the theater and went over it on the spot, it had been a while. I just gave Haley a look, I knew she would probably throw the 'F-ing' special in but I was just playin' with the 'yikes' look. At the end, it was "phew, we got thru it."”

I've said it before and I'll say it again "What a set of pipe this girl has". WOW killed it again. What kills me is Haley came in third behind Lauren and Scotty. She has more songs out then both of them together. Where is the justice.. I quit watching A.I. after that season.

I emailed this to Harry, and asked him about something that he does during this performance and he said he hadn’t done “creep” in awhile, they went over it a couple times at mic check, just him and Haley. That’s why you see the reaction that I kept in the video at the end, Haley looks back at Harry and he’s breathing a sigh of relief ✌🏻
I discovered Haley through PMJ but I really like this. Just her voice and a really well played guitar. Simple. Simply brilliant. Edit: why does it say vocals by Patti Reinhart?
One of my favorite things having followed Haley from the 'beginning' and seeing many of her early shows was that I got to see her perform in small venues of possibly 30-40 people, just her and one other instrument. You hear every colour of her voice, up close and personal. I'd rather spend money on a round trip to LA, pay $10 cover charge and see an intimate Haley show, than pay $500 to see McCartney (The Beatles are my all time favorite) in a sports stadium on a huge HD monitor from nose bleed seats. #NoContest
It is so reassuring to see there is REAL talent in 2020 instead of these manufactured two-dimensional {and I use this word loosely} singers. I won't mention any names those in the know are aware of who they are, talk about killing a song Wow!!
