BIRD'S MILK - A super fine dessert

My dear ones, on this occasion I've prepared a super fine dessert, named Bird's Milk. I really liked it when I was a child and now, on special occasions, I prepare it. I hope it reminds you of the pleasant taste, if you have tried it and if you have not tried it yet, take the courage to prepare it.

Ingredients:
1.5 l (0.4 gallons) of milk
1 vanilla pod
Dumplings:
6 egg whites
100 grams (3.5oz) of sugar
a pinch of salt
Vanilla sauce:
6 yolks
100 grams (3.5oz) of sugar
4 sachets of vanilla sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla essence
optional: 1 tablespoon cornstarch
To decorate on top:
pistachio and chocolate
