For those wondering what's going on with the carpet:
Someone discovered a glitch that allows you to use any token to get a different item. Press L just when the token disappears from your inventory and you will get a different effect. What you get is based on the token that you use and the frame on which you press L.
You can leave this (and most other) level(s) on the left side and come back on the right side.
