This was so fun. Thanks for sharing. That was some friggin' beautiful sushi. The problem with vacation is seeing all the things you want to eat, but trying to make room for it! Hee. I want some of that dragon's beard as well. *sigh* Annnnnd, now I want a vacation. Congrats on the 50,000 mark and thank you for helping to bring us a variety of entertainment.
I had an terrific time at that Comic Con. I met with Felicia, hung out with her for a couple hours (the lady is awesome). I bought my 11 year old niece a Cthulhu Cameo because she's a huge fan of Cthulhu and the Flog (she was wearing her Flog shirt when she met Felicia). For food, I tried my first Crepe (basically like a sort of pancake with stuff wrapped within it). Mine was a simple one, just bacon, eggs and ham, but you can put almost anything in it, apple sauce, chocolate, meat, cheese etc.
Met her at MTL Comic Con and she is super cool and really pretty. Thanks for the hug Felicia! Made my day, week and my autographed photo makes me smile whenever I look at it! :B
Thrilled that you had a great visit. I've lived here for all of my 39 years of existence and I get down on certain things (politics, lack of employment, etc.), but I can never complain about the options for chowing down. We are very spoiled in that respect. Hopefully the sights, culinary delights and our humble comic convention will mean more Felicia Day in Montreal :) Cheers!
I'm from Montreal :) AND OMG, I WAS LIKE... where have I seen you before... And then I searched you up and I realized... SUPERNATURAL!!!! ;OOOOO ME AND MY FRIENDS LOVE THAT SHOW, ITS OUR FAV!
Very cool video. I always enjoy con tours. And I'm really looking forward to the hangouts! I was already enjoying the channel when it launched, but the initial hangouts just cemented its greatness for me. They're always awesome. Also, your phone takes better video than my video camera.
Schwartz's and the Jean Talon market are musts for any foodie visiting Montreal, but I'm impressed she found Park, which is one of my favourite restaurants in town, but not an obvious choice for a west-coast visitor.
Thanks for coming to Montreal Comic-Con, your Q&A was great! If you ever stop by Marché Jean-Talon again someday, make sure you stop by the small pancakes restaurant, it's really good. Also, grats on 50k Subscribers!
Yay, you should come to Montreal more often, we have alot of festivals. In winter, try Igloofest, a open door experience with electronic music surrounded by ice scultures and stuff. :)
As a native montreal-er, I gotta say people always talk about how "old timey" it is, but in all honesty, that's one very small tourist section of the city. The rest of the city is grimy and urban. Particularly grimy. Way dirtier than Toronto or Vancouver. I love it though.
La Banquise is the best place for poutine in Montreal, AND you totally went to a bunch of my favorite Montreal restaurants which is all kinds of win! I so miss Montreal!
They have a wire that runs down the back of your arm and you control them by twisting this knob thing at the end, so once you get good it's pretty well concealed what's causing them to look around.
Hi, nice Mtl popular spot tour. So many more worth coming back to try. Alsooo, you know what would be awesome; if the CR crew pass by at the next con, you know to make up for the fact that Quebec can’t enter any of competition give aways.
50k is great. congrats :) I really do miss the Flog and the random stuff you got into in your segments. Playing the games with your brother is a cool once in a while thing to check out, but not an all the time must watch. Conan does great game playing segments, but he is more than just that. So are you. Come back to Canada anytime. I am sure there will be more jams for you to buy. :)
Holy poop. I worked 2 minutes away from Place d'Armes (the plaza/park in front of the beautiful church, Basilique Notre-Dame). I hope we were nice to you!
Ha ha ha FIST ! Hi 5 for the 3 pounds f-day The shoulder cat/bird/monkey thinh was amazing how does it look round like that and im lovein the space marine guy good taste Well done for 50 thousand subscriptions i realy appreciate the time and effort all the vlogers take to do these things and thanks geek and sundry for giving everyone a hub to come and share and create Thankyou
It did make me hungry, but since I AM from Montréal, I'll just go and buy some jams at the Marché Jean-Talon after work ;) and by thw way, it was really nice meeting you at the Comic-Con Felicia :)
I ended staying in Toronto for a month and loved the poutine. I was really surprised it was everywhere, even the Wendy's! She does have to try a Caesar, another special of Canada. At least that's what my Canadian friend told me. I mean come on: liqour + bacon = *homer drool*
"Merci mon amant!" means "Thank you, my lover!" xD As a Montrealer, it's really weird to see all these things I'm used to through the eyes of someone visiting. Awesome video. :)
I met her at the Montreal Comic-Con. And yes... she really is attractive and deliciously funny. She made my week. Merci beaucoup Félicia Day. :) a happy fan
I live in Montreal and honestly each time I consider buying a house out of the city I'm wondering how I'll make it without that many amazing restaurants and micro-breweries. You just never get used to it! It's always amazing. PS : Next time try the Dragon Rouge, an old-timey restaurant where you'll probably get laugh at because you don't speak french but who cares? You'll have your best time ever there. PPS: If you go invite me :P
I'm so pissed i couldn'T go to comiccon...the price went nuts this year :\ they did announce 45$ but with all the taxes and such it's 65$ v.v i sooo wanted to meet with you...
Poutine is tricky. As a Canadian I love it, but it is either the best thing you ever ate or the worst. If the ingredients are not fresh and the preparation not perfect what you get can be horrible. Since you are on the petite side ( I met you in Ottawa), I imagine you can afford to gain 3 lbs for a bit. I am pleased you enjoyed yourself. I wonder how it compares with Ottawa?
When Felicia was talking to her puppet, it reminded me of Jeff's double-act with his son at the end of his vlogs. "Shhhhhhould... they like this video?"
Meeting you was definitely THE highlight of the convention for me this year Felicia! Thanks for being so awesome!
This was so fun. Thanks for sharing. That was some friggin' beautiful sushi. The problem with vacation is seeing all the things you want to eat, but trying to make room for it! Hee. I want some of that dragon's beard as well. *sigh* Annnnnd, now I want a vacation.

I missed Montreal Comic Con. I was so sad. But I'm glad you enjoyed my little side of the country. À une prochaine fois!
It was awesome meeting you there Felicia! Hope you come back to Montreal Comiccon.

Wow! That looked like you had a really great time. Awesome!
La Banquise is the best place for poutine in Montreal, AND you totally went to a bunch of my favorite Montreal restaurants which is all kinds of win! I so miss Montreal!
LOL when she said merci Mon Aman, and said that's not even a word at the end she actually said in French thank you my lover
They have a wire that runs down the back of your arm and you control them by twisting this knob thing at the end, so once you get good it's pretty well concealed what's causing them to look around.

Seems like a great trip. Wish you would Vlog more. :)
The Geek and Sundry Vlogers are like the Justice League and Avengers of the V-Long world. thanks for bringing that awesome team together.
Hi, nice Mtl popular spot tour. So many more worth coming back to try. Alsooo, you know what would be awesome; if the CR crew pass by at the next con, you know to make up for the fact that Quebec can’t enter any of competition give aways.

The guy with the dragon's beard candies makes the best bubbletea in Montreal! ♥

I am now starving, thanks a lot Felicia! *glare*
I had those dragon things in Korea, and they are delicious, even after staying in a briefcase for over a week. But best eaten fresh!
OMG! Those puppets are at the Michigan RenFest!
La Banquise is probably my favourite restaurant EVER!! Why don't we have poutine in the UK :(
Oh you... ;)
Beef tartar is awesome!

I SQUEALED so much I choked when I saw that cat puppet.
Genuinely surprised you're only at 50k, i'm sure the next milestone will be broken in no time.
J'adore montreal!
I knew it was you, in the elevator in Ubisoft's building.
Glad you enjoy your visit in the great city of Montreal.
I need to build an animated shoulder Dragon!!!!
That would be so cool!!!!!!
Actually "merci mon amant" is something. It means: Thank you my lover :) Hope you had fun in my home town
Those dragon beard candies are SO GOOD. This just reminds me how long it's been since I had those. mmmmmmmm
I didn't get a notification either, but it's there!
Felicia "F-Bomb" Day is a great guest vlogger. Reminds me of the ole' flogs she had back in the day.

Awww, Felicia! I didn't know you were comming here! Too bad I missed you :(

Yay, I'm in this!
When Felicia was talking to her puppet, it reminded me of Jeff's double-act with his son at the end of his vlogs.
"Shhhhhhould... they like this video?"
I miss the Flog! I love this channel, but I also miss the Flog.
I have also ALWAYS wanted one of those "cat-puppets." Good use of that one.
